Kane Brown is making his lifelong acting dream come true when he debuts on the CBS series Fire Country on April 7.
“Acting has been a life-long dream of mine, and to make my debut on a hit series like Fire Country is such an honor,” Brown told PEOPLE in a statement ahead of his appearance on the April 7 episode.
Brown is playing the character of Robin, an “enigmatic, modern-day train hopper,” who helps injured train patients at the crash scene. He recently tweeted a few photos for fans to get their first look of him in the show.
Brown shared that “the cast and crew were so welcoming and made me feel like family,” while executive producer and showrunner Tia Napolitano added that the country singer will “light up the Fire Country screen for this episode.”

He Previously Auditioned For A Grease Movie
In 2022, Brown shared his acting aspirations in an interview with Elaina Smith on Nights With Elaina.
“We’ve been trying to get some movies in and see which one relates to me the most,” Brown said.
He told Smith in the interview that he auditioned for a new Grease movie, that has since been cancelled.
“They were surprised with the audition tapes,” he says. “They said that I could actually do it.”
The movies were supposed to be a pre-Danny Zuko storyline. Brown auditioned for a character who went on to pursue a signing career. Despite the movie being cancelled, Brown is still looking to make his big screen debut if someone gives him the opportunity.
He admitted that without any acting class preparation, a horror movie might be a good fit for him.
“Put me in a horror movie,” Brown said. “I would be the guy who is getting hunted. I don’t know if I would want to be the tough dude that was helping everybody or if I want to be the funny guy.”
Brown might not be in theaters any time soon but he will be on smaller ones when his episode airs and is available for streaming.
Kane Brown Is Gearing Up To Hit The Road & Co-Host The 2023 CMT Music Awards
The episode will air just days after Brown co-hosts the 2023 CMT Music Awards alongside Kelsea Ballerini on April 2. This will be his fourth time co-hosting the fan-voted award show.

Brown and his wife, Katelyn, will also make their television debut performing their No. 1 single, “Thank God.” The Browns made history with the song, becoming the second married couple in country music to earn a No. 1 together with a duet.
The country hitmaker is also nominated for Video Of The Year, Male Video Of The Year and Collaborative Video Of The Year at the coveted awards show.
Additionally, Kane Brown will soon hit the road on the U.S. leg of his Drunk or Dreaming Tour. The tour features support from special guests Dustin Lynch, Gabby Barrett and LOCASH on select dates.
The trek kicks off on March 16 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The tour will visit 23 cities throughout the United States before ending at Fiddler’s Green Amphitheatre in Greenwood Village, Colorado, on Saturday, June 10.
