Chris Lane and Scotty McCreery shocked fans in their home state with a special performance of their duet.

The country superstar and “Big, Big Plans” singer surprised the near capacity crowd at Ritz Theater in Raleigh, North Carolina on February 25 with fellow Carolina native, McCreery.

“My buddy @Scotty McCreery surprised us in Raleigh, NC last weekend,” Lane captioned the video on his TikTok.

The clip shows Lane on stage talking about a surprise he has in store for the fans in attendance. After telling the crowd that he had a friend in town, he welcomed “You Time” singer, McCreery, to the stage to perform their collaborative track, “Small Town On It,” for the first-time ever live.

“I got something that I want to do. If y’all don’t mind I have a buddy here tonight that I did a song with called ‘Small Town On It’ and he just so happened to be off [from tour] tonight. Would you welcome to the stage, Mr. Scotty McCreery!”
