Tucker Wetmore stopped his Harrisburg, Pennsylvania concert to honor a late 17-year-old fan named Addie and led the sold-out arena crowd in prayer for her, her family and other families mourning the loss of loved ones.

During his sold-out show on The Brunette World Tour at the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex on February 14, the rising country star halted the show to pray and honor a young fan who was supposed to be in the crowd that night but tragically passed away just weeks earlier.

“Today has been an emotional rollercoaster for me,” Wetmore told the crowd. “First and foremost, this is my first ever arena sold out. I started touring literally less than two years ago. This is absolutely insane. Thank you guys so much for showing up. I moved to Nashville with a dream and a handful of songs, and the last two years my life have been absolutely insane.”

While celebrating the milestone, Wetmore admitted the day carried a heavier weight. He shared that he had spent time speaking with families who had recently lost loved ones. “I’ve had a lot of really heartfelt conversations with a couple of different families, a couple families affected by loved ones passing away,” he continued. “And like I said, today’s been emotional rollercoaster for me. I feel like I’m on top of the world, but I know a lot of people in here could use it.”

Putting his concert on hold temporaily, Tucker Wetmore addressed the crowd with a humble request to join him in prayer. “So I’m going to put my pride aside for a second. And if you guys don’t mind, I’d like to pray for everybody in here if that’s alright. If y’all want to bow your hands [and] take your heads off.”

The sold-out arena crowd went silent as Wetmore bowed his head and led a heartfelt prayer from the stage.

“Dear Heavenly Father, we thank you for gathering us here today. We thank you for the opportunity of music, we thank you for the gift of music, we thank you for getting us around these boys up here on stage, around the country safely every weekend. Father, we thank you for getting everybody here safely, and we thank you for the families that took their time and spent their hard earned money to buy tickets to come here tonight. Father, if anybody’s out there grieving a lost loved one or I know there’s a lot of military and first responders out in the crowd tonight, I pray that you just look over their families and keep them safe because they put their lives on the line every single day to protect those who can’t protect themselves. So I thank you for that. I thank you for bestowing that upon their hearts. I pray that you help us. Just have a good night and say screw the world for a second and just have a great night here in Pennsylvania. I love you so much. In Jesus name, amen.”

Following his prayer, Wetmore went on to share the story of a 17-year-old fan named Addie Ross, who was involved in a tragic car accident on January 30, 2026. The teenager was airlifted to Hershey Medical Center, where she was placed in a medically induced coma for six days before ultimately passing away.

“One of the families that I met tonight… they got a little girl her name was Addie,” Wetmore said as he began to get emotional. About an hour before the show, the 26-year-old singer/songwriter met with Addie’s parents on his tour bus, where they told him how much Addie loved his music and she was supposed to attend the show with them that evening.

“I spent some time on my bus [with Addie’s family] before the show about an hour ago. They told me her story,” Wetmore continued as he started to cry. “She was a junior in high school. She was a scholar in high school, she had a lot of friends, she was a great athlete, [she] got in a car wreck a couple weeks ago and sat in a coma for six days and she ended up passing away. But one of the last things that her mom and her dad and her talked about was coming to this show and I got to meet them before this show and they told me that this next song was her favorite song. You could hear her singing it or playing it on her stereo two blocks away is what they said.”

He then dedicated his performance of “Wine Into Whiskey” to the late fan, and requested that the crowd sing the song as loud as they can in her memory. “So I just want you guys to sing this song as loud as you can in Addie name, that’s what music is about. Like I said, It’s emotional rollercoaster every day, but sing the song in Addie’s name. I love y’all so much,” Wetmore said through tears before singing the chart-topping hit.
