Kenny Chesney is returning to the road in 2027 with his newly announced 19-date Original Vibe Room Tour, following his massively successful two-year Sphere residency, which drew more than 400,000 fans.

The 58-year-old East Tennessee native took to social media on Tuesday morning (Sept. 15) to unveil his tour plans for next year. Produced by Messina Touring Group, the headlining trek will kick off at Raymond James Stadium on April 24, marking his eighth appearance at the home of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and will continue through August 28, when the trek will wrap up at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts.

“When we started to talk about touring next year, all I could think about was how good those stadiums feel… how loud, how fast, how much energy comes hurling at us. I don’t think I knew how much I missed it. And when it hit me as well, watching comments on Instagram and Facebook, I realized: we should make next year be all about the stadiums. So, we did,” Chesney shared in a statement about the tour, which is presented by Blue Chair Bay Rum. “It’s gonna be an amazing summer. I can’t believe we’re here again, and I can’t wait to get out there and start doing it. The Original Vibe Room Tour 2027 is gonna be all the things, but especially a lot of fun, a lot of music, and a lot of songs people have lived their lives to. Get ready. We’re coming.”

Eric Church, who previously hit the road with Chesney in 2013 as part of the massive No Shoes Nation Tour, will reunite with the country superstar as direct support on the Original Vibe Room Tour.  Sheryl Crow and Greylan James will round out the lineup as special guests, joining select dates throughout the tour.

“To make it really hit, I called Eric, who’d come out that first weekend in Vegas and sang a few with me, to see if he’d want to do this. He was in,” Chesney continued of his support acts. “Then to give fans a twist, something a little different, but someone who rocks and everyone in No Shoes Nation loves, I asked Sheryl Crow if she wanted to come play with us; and she said, ‘Yes.’ Suddenly, we’ve got all that high-powered energy, and it was starting to feel the same way we did way back in the day.”

The tour takes its namesake from Chesney’s Vibe Room, a backstage hangout he hosts at his shows for friends and family. The intimate space reflects the sense of camaraderie and fun that inspired the summer tour, bringing that same spirit on the road. “Three people who know each other, are friends, and love to play are taking it out on the road for the summer. That kind of camaraderie matches everything about what made me want to chase this dream in the first place, that adventure and fun defined us,” Chesney added. “For me, there was only one name: the Original Vibe Room Tour, because this time, with these people, I want everyone in the vibe.”

Chesney continued, “We started the Vibe Room in 2002 as a place for our people – the adults, guests, musicians – to come together, get a drink, hang out, meet up, maybe make some new friends. It was a fun place, and I feel like that’s what 2027’s gonna be all about. So what else would we call it?”

The tour will bring first-time performances to Greenville, N.C., home of the East Carolina University Pirates, and Ames, Iowa, home of the Iowa State Cyclones. But for Chesney and his fans, the tour is also about returning to familiar territory, with homecomings woven throughout the lineup.

After 24 shows at New England’s Gillette Stadium, Chesney will make his 13th appearance in both Pittsburgh and Detroit, his 12th stadium show in Philadelphia, and his ninth stop in New Jersey, Dallas-Fort Worth and Kansas City. Tampa and Chicago will each host Chesney for an eighth stadium concert.

“It’s crazy to think these stadiums where I see football played every week are like coming home for the band and myself, but also really No Shoes Nation which rose out of these stadium parking lots. Stadiums are where we come most alive – and this tour’s taking it to a whole other level,” Chesney concluded.

The tour announcement follows weeks of speculation after several stadiums posted cryptic messages on social media featuring a tour laminate emblazoned with Chesney’s iconic palm tree and guitar logo. The pass, which reads “Vibe Room 2027,” was accompanied by the caption, “open invite to The Vibe Room…delivered Tuesday.”
