Country Splash hosted its first-ever weekend in Cabo, bringing together country music, beach days, pool parties, and wellness for a three-day getaway at Paradisus Los Cabos. Set along the beaches of Cabo San Lucas, the inaugural festival gave fans a chance to experience their favorite country artists in a setting that felt more like a vacation than a traditional country music festival.
From the moment guests arrived, the focus was on enjoying the destination as much as the music. With the resort, beach, and pool open throughout the day, guests could spend their mornings relaxing or taking part in a wellness experience, afternoons by the pool or soaking up the sun on the beach; and evenings enjoying live music in an intimate setting surrounded by palm trees and stunning views of the Cabo beaches.
The lineup also gave fans plenty to look forward to across all three days. Tucker Wetmore, Dasha, Blake Whiten, and Jacob Hackworth kicked off the weekend Friday night, followed by Jon Pardi, LOCASH, and Zach John King on Saturday. Riley Green, Cameron Whitcomb, and Lauren Watkins closed out the inaugural weekend Sunday night.
But the live music was only part of what made Country Splash different. ADHD, the duo made up of chart-topping Nashville songwriters Ashley Gorley and Jesse Frasure, VAVO, and Dee Jay Silver helped keep the energy going throughout the weekend with poolside DJ sets.
From fireside performances and wellness sessions to poolside DJ sets and nightly main stage shows, Country Splash offered a mix of experiences that went far beyond the typical festival schedule.

More Than A Festival, But A Vacation
Country Splash was designed to feel less like a traditional country music festival and more like a weekend getaway. Instead of spending the weekend waiting around in long lines, navigating large crowds, and moving from one stage to another, guests were able to settle into the all-inclusive resort and enjoy the festival and the resort’s amenities at their own pace.
Taking place at Paradisus Los Cabos in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, the festival gave guests the chance to enjoy the music while also taking advantage of the resort, beach, and pool throughout the weekend. The smaller setting made for a more relaxed and intimate experience, without the long lines and large crowds that often come with a typical festival. Guests could spend the day by the pool or on the beach, grab a drink, and enjoy the resort before heading to the main stage for an evening of live music without ever having to leave the property.
Morning Wellness Experiences
The festival also made room for something you don’t usually find at a country music festival: dedicated wellness programming. The official wellness partner, Sports Research, served as Country Splash’s wellness concierge throughout the weekend, incorporating hydration, recovery, and self-care into the guest experience.
Saturday morning featured a movement and meditation session, while Sunday brought Diplo’s Morning Wellness Experience. Set on the grounds of Paradisus Los Cabos and surrounded by stunning tropical views, the Sunday session gave guests a chance to ease into the final day with an hour-long yoga flow.
Sports Research also hosted an interactive Recovery Lounge featuring Hydrate Electrolytes, Vitamin D3+K2 Gummies, and Vitamin C Gummies. Hydrate was also available in the Members’ Private Club, with additional wellness support provided for participating artists.
Rather than being an afterthought, wellness became another essential part of the overall Country Splash experience.
Intimate Fireside Sessions With Superstars
Some of the weekend’s most memorable moments happened away from the main stage. Country Splash’s Sunset Fireside Sessions gave fans the chance to see artists up close and personal as the sun went down over Cabo. The acoustic performances featured artists including Jon Pardi, Riley Green, Zach John King, Lauren Watkins, and Dasha throughout the weekend.
The stripped-down setting offered a different look at the artists and their music, giving fans the opportunity to hear their songs and experience their personalities without the production of a traditional festival set. The artists also dressed in casual, everyday beach attire rather than their usual stagewear, adding to the more relaxed vibe of the fireside sessions.
Dasha summed up the experience during her Sunday performance, saying, “This is so cool; I don’t get to do stuff like this all the time and nerd out about the songwriting.”
Pool Parties That Blended Country With Other Genres
Country Splash brought a different kind of energy to the daytime with pool parties that mixed country music with EDM, hip-hop, and pop hits.
DJ Lucky Lou opened Saturday’s pool programming before ADHD and Diplo took over, while VAVO and Dee Jay Silver kept the party going Sunday. Dee Jay Silver also kept the energy high between Main Stage performances throughout the weekend.
The mix of genres gave guests a chance to switch things up during the day before settling in for the evening’s country performances.
Intimate Performances From Major Country Artists
Despite being a new festival, Country Splash packed its inaugural weekend with a lineup of established country stars and rising artists.
Tucker Wetmore brought opening night to a high point with a 90-minute set featuring fan favorites including “Wind Up Missing You,” “3, 2, 1,” and “Sunburn.” During the performance, Wetmore brought his friend and co-writer Jacob Hackworth onstage for “Wine Into Whiskey.”
Saturday brought performances from Jon Pardi, LOCASH, and Zach John King, with LOCASH adding a three-piece mariachi band to their set. The duo also had the crowd singing along to “Let The Country Music Play” and “I Love This Life.”
On Sunday, Lauren Watkins and Cameron Whitcomb helped lead into Riley Green’s closing set. Green ended the inaugural weekend with songs including “Different ‘Round Here,” “Think As You Drunk,” and “Worst Way,” with Watkins joining him for “Don’t Mind If I Do,” a duet originally featuring Ella Langley.
The smaller setting meant fans got to see artists up close rather than from a distance. That more personal feel quickly became one of the highlights of the weekend.
A More Personalized Festival Experience
Perhaps the biggest difference between Country Splash and a traditional festival was the overall level of hospitality and how well guests were taken care of. Concierge services, Social Ambassadors, premium spaces, and resort amenities made it easy to move between the pool, beach, and concerts throughout the weekend.
The Members Private Club and VIP Sky Deck offered additional ways to enjoy the shows, while the resort setting allowed guests to come and go at their own pace.
By the time Riley Green closed out the weekend Sunday night, Country Splash had delivered more than a music festival. It gave fans a three-day Cabo getaway filled with country music, pool parties, intimate fireside sets, wellness experiences, and plenty of time to enjoy the destination.
The smaller setting and personalized experience made Country Splash feel more like a true getaway than your typical music festival, and after experiencing the inaugural weekend firsthand, it was easily one of the best overall festival experiences we’ve ever been part of.
When Country Splash returns to Cabo in 2027, it’s a festival you need to put on your calendar.
