Morgan Wallen is gearing up to hit the road this summer with one of the most star-studded lineups in country music, as the I’m The Problem Tour will feature rotating support from country superstars like Miranda Lambert, Brooks & Dunn, Thomas Rhett and Koe Wetzel along with rising stars Ella Langley, Anne Wilson, Corey Kent, and Gavin Adcock.

Morgan Wallen Talks I’m The Problem Tour Opening Acts

During an appearance on This Past Weekend with Theo Von (episode 573), the 31-year-old country superstar and East Tennessee native took a moment to shout out and praise the star-studded lineup of opening acts joining him on select dates of his 20-date headlining tour, produced by Live Nation, kicking off at NRG Stadium on June 20 in Houston, Texas.

“It’s unbelievable to me. Just to see the people that are opening for me, it doesn’t even make sense,” Wallen said humbly, while reflecting on the impressive tour lineup.

How Miranda Lambert, Brooks & Dunn, Thomas Rhett Got On The Tour

The conversation began when podcast host Theo Von asked Wallen how he assembled such a big tour lineup of established country superstars and rising stars as support—including artists he’s looked up to as ‘idols’ in the industry, such as Miranda Lambert and Brooks & Dunn.

“I’m good friends with Miranda,” he said, referencing Miranda Lambert, who previously admitted that she is “thrilled” to join him on the trek. “I’m good friends with Brooks and Dunn. I mean, there was already mutual interest, and that’s something that’s kind of been a conversation for a little bit longer than just this year. So that one kind of just worked itself out between them and my managers,” Wallen explained.

He then went on to detail that he’s “good friends with Thomas Rhett as well,” so having him on the tour just “happened pretty naturally.” Of his “Mamaw’s House” collaborator, Thomas Rhett, Wallen stated, “he’s super nice.”

Praises Ella Langley, Anne Wilson, Corey Kent And More

Aside from the superstar talents that he enlisted for the tour, the I’m The Problem Tour also features some of today’s hottest rising stars such as Ella Langley, Anne Wilson, Corey Kent, Gavin Adcock and more.

Ella Langley, whom Wallen proudly described as “a badass,” is known for her chart-topping hit “you look like you love me” alongside Riley Green, as well as her gritty country rock sound and unapologetic attitude. Langley has been turning heads and making waves in Country music with her anthemic songs and explosive live performances on the road.

Wallen also praised Anne Wilson, highlighting the unique flavor she brings to the tour with her powerful, faith-rooted vocals and crossing over from Christian music to country. “Anne Wilson, she’s a Christian artist by trait, but she’s dabbling in the country music world. She’s really good,” he gushed of the “My Jesus” singer.

Corey Kent got a quick, but notable mention as well. “He’s good too,” Wallen noted. Kent, best known for his rowdy live shows and his No. 1 hit, “Wild As Her,” which was co-written by Wallen.

Gavin Adcock and Koe Wetzel

And when it was time to talk about Gavin Adcock, Morgan Wallen didn’t hold back. “He’s a wild man. I love that guy, man,” the father of one said with a laugh. “He’s definitely outlandish. But he’s entertaining. He’s got a good voice too. And his music seems like he just keeps getting better, too. So I’m happy for him, man.” Wallen then even went as far as comparing Adcock’s bold personality to his own early day in the spotlight.

“I think back in the day, if I had a camera on me like Adcock does now… they would probably be saying some similar stuff about me. But he’s a little more bold with it, I guess, than I was,” Wallen added of Gavin Adcock.

Koe Wetzel is also set to join the tour, supporting Wallen during the Houston, Texas shows. Although he wasn’t mentioned in the conversation, Wetzel has previously opened for Wallen on his record-breaking One Night At A Time Stadium Tour.

Morgan Wallen’s I’m The Problem Tour

Wallen will kick off his I’m The Problem Tour with back-to-back shows at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas, on June 20 and June 21. The chart-topping singer/songwriter will make stops at 10 stadiums (20-shows, two per city) across the U.S. and Canada, running through September 13, with the tour wrapping up in Edmonton, Alberta, at Commonwealth Stadium for two back-to-back shows.

As mentioned, the shows will feature rotating direct support from Brooks & Dunn, Miranda Lambert, Thomas Rhett and Koe Wetzel, with additional support from Gavin Adcock, Corey Kent, Ella Langley and Anne Wilson on select dates. Morgan Wallen’s set list for the trek is expected to feature some of his biggest hits as well as new songs.

In Support Of His Fourth Studio Album, I’m The Problem

The trek comes in support of his upcoming fourth studio album, I’m The Problem, which arrives on May 16 and feature a 37 song track list. The project will include previously songs such as “Smile,” “Lies Lies Lies,” “Love Somebody,” “Just In Case” and “I’m A Little Crazy,” as well as “Superman,” a heartfelt track he wrote as a letter to his son, Indigo, and more.
