As fans eagerly await the release of his new album, I’m The Problem, Morgan Wallen is giving them a taste of what’s to come by dropping not one but two brand-new tracks, including “Just In Case” and “I’m A Little Crazy.” The two new tracks arrived on March 21 via Big Loud/Mercury.
“Just In Case”
“Just In Case” is an honest confession from a man who is holding out hope to return to a relationship that didn’t work out the first time. Hesitant to move on with someone new, Wallen has no intention of getting to the next level with anyone romantically, rather yearns to go back to an old flame.
“I never let my heart go all the way/ Every time I try, I just hit the brakes/ And there’s always a couple tryna take your place/ But I never fall in love, baby, just in case/ You wake up wantin’ me out of the blue/ You lay down needin’ what I used to do/ Yeah, every now and then, I go get a taste/ But I never fall in love, baby, just in case/ Just in case,” Wallen sings throughout the soft country chorus.
Wallen wrote “Just In Case” with a handful of collaborators, including John Byron, Jacob Kasher Hindlin, Ryan Vojtesak, Josh Thompson, Blake Pendergrass, and Alex Bak. He turned to other tunesmiths when settling on the track “I’m A Little Crazy,” which finds Michael Hardy (HARDY), Smith Ahnquist, Hunter Phelps, and Jameson Rodgers sharing writing credits.
“I’m A Little Crazy”
“I’m A Little Crazy” serves as the closing number on Wallen’s fourth studio album, I’m The Problem. A thought-provoking philosophical track, the song finds Wallen working as a moonshine dealer like his grandfather did and reasoning that his “crazy” ways are a product of how the rest of the world works. “I’m a little crazy, but the world’s insane,” he sings the hook over a subdued, soothing instrumental.
“I keep a loaded .44 sittin’ by the bed/ For the jeepers and the creepers who ain’t right in the head/ Hope I never have to use it, but you never know these days/ I’m a little crazy, but the world’s insane,” he later adds.
Wallen recently opened up about “I’m A Little Crazy” and revealed why he chose to cut the tune, even though he didn’t have a hand in writing the track. “That’s a song that HARDY sent to me. It’s been a while ago now. I’ve always loved it. Just the stripped back style of the song, you know, that kind of how the demo was, and we stuck [with it]. We stay true to that. You know, it says what a lot of people feel, but still in a classy way,” Wallen explained. “So I think that’s what drew me to the song first of all, just how intelligent the lyrics were. It was really fun to sing in the studio, and I’m glad that everyone in my team is rallying around the song. It just seems like it’s a real focus for this album, and I’m excited about that.”
To Appear On Forthcoming New Album, I’m The Problem
Produced by Joey Moi (with Charlie Handsome joining as co-producer for “Just In Case”), both songs offer insight into his upcoming 37-track project, I’m The Problem, and show a slight departure from Wallen’s previous collections as he takes a more in-depth look at his personal life while serving up stripped-down melodies.
“I have been a problem, for sure, and I’ve got no problem admitting that,” Wallen said, revealing the inspiration behind the album title. “But there are other sides to me as well. I’ve spent the last 11 months really trying to figure out, ‘Do I still want to be the problem? Is it time to move past that phase in my life?’ I think it probably is, and this might be the last time I get a chance to honestly say it.”
Wallen’s latest songs follow previously released tracks, “I’m the Problem,” “Love Somebody,” “Smile” and “Lies Lies Lies,” all of which are expected to appear on his new album, in addition to “Superman,” a song that serves as a letter to his son, Indigo Wilder Wallen.
The tunes also come ahead of Wallen’s slot as a musical guest on Saturday Night Live, which will be hosted by Mikey Madison and airs on March 29 on NBC. During the performance, the East Tennessee native will treat viewers to songs from his upcoming project.

I’m The Problem Stadium Tour And Sand In My Boots Festival
In addition, I’m The Problem due out on May 16, will coincide with the launch of Wallen’s inaugural, all-genre Sand In My Boots Festival in Gulf Shores, Alabama, which runs from May 16-18. The festival, which sold out in less than two hours of ticket on-sale, will feature Wallen, Post Malone, Brooks & Dunn and HARDY as the headliners across three days and three nights, with special guests including Riley Green, Bailey Zimmerman, T-Pain, Diplo, Wiz Khalifa, The War on Drugs, 2 Chainz, Chase Rice, Three 6 Mafia, 3 Doors Down, Ella Langley, ERNEST, Morgan Wade, Moneybagg Yo and more.
Additionally, Wallen will take his new album on the road this summer for his 20-date headlining I’m The Problem Stadium Tour, which will feature rotating direct support from Brooks & Dunn, Miranda Lambert, Thomas Rhett and Koe Wetzel, with additional support from Gavin Adcock, Corey Kent, Ella Langley and Anne Wilson on select dates.

Wallen’s 20 Stadium shows paired with the first-ever Sand In My Boots Festival will mark the only tour dates for Wallen in 2025.
