Save the date! Morgan Wallen has officially announced that his fourth studio album, I’m The Problem, will drop on May 16.

Morgan Wallen’s New Album I’m The Problem Arrives On May 16

The East Tennessee native revealed the exciting news with fans on Thursday, March 20, via his official social media accounts. “My new album ‘I’m The Problem’ will be out May 16th. Preorder available tonight at midnight et with two new songs ‘I’m A Little Crazy’ and ‘Just In Case,’” he wrote at the time.

I’m The Problem will combine Wallen’s country, cross and dirt-rock influences and will feature 37 tracks. The 31-year-old country hitmaker worked with award-winning producers Joey Moi and Charlie Handsome on the project, and spent nearly a year writing and finetuning the album’s track list just outside of Nashville on his farm. For Wallen, the process was a time of reflection, allowing him to take stock of where he’s been and where he’s going—without avoiding the past.

“I have been a problem, for sure, and I’ve got no problem admitting that. But there are other sides to me as well. I’ve spent the last 11 months really trying to figure out, ‘Do I still want to be the problem? Is it time to move past that phase in my life?’ I think it probably is, and this might be the last time I get a chance to honestly say it,” he explained of the inspiration behind the album title.

Alongside the album’s official release date unveiling, Wallen also dropped two new songs from the project: “Just In Case” and “I’m A Little Crazy.” In addition to the newly released tunes, I’m The Problem will also feature previously released tracks, including the title track “I’m the Problem,” “Love Somebody,” “Smile” and “Lies Lies Lies,” as well as “Superman,” a song that serves as a letter to his son, Indigo Wilder Wallen.

Morgan Wallen’s new album, I’m The Problem, is available for pre-save/preorder now HERE.

The tunes and release date announcement comes just days before Wallen is set to return to Saturday Night Live (SNL) as a musical guest, which will be hosted by Mikey Madison and airs on March 29 on NBC. During his SNL performance, Morgan Wallen will treat viewers to songs from the upcoming project.

I’m The Problem Stadium Tour

The reigning CMA Entertainer of The Year will take the project on the road for a 20-date stadium tour, featuring rotating direct support from Brooks & Dunn, Miranda LambertThomas Rhett and Koe Wetzel, with additional support from Gavin Adcock, Corey Kent, Ella Langley and Anne Wilson on select dates.

The headlining trek, aptly named the I’m The Problem Tour, will kick off in Houston, Texas with back-to-back shows at NRG Stadium on June 20 and June 21. Morgan Wallen’s headlining I’m The Problem Tour will make stops at 19 stadiums across the U.S. and Canada, running through September 13, with the tour wrapping up in Edmonton, Alberta, at Commonwealth Stadium for two back-to-back shows.

In addition to his I’m The Problem Stadium Tour, Wallen will also deliver a headlining set at his inaugural Sand In My Boots Festival in Gulf Shores, Alabama, which runs from May 16-18. The festival, which sold out in less than two hours of ticket on-sale, will feature Wallen, Post Malone, Brooks & Dunn and HARDY as the headliners across three days and three nights, with special guests including Riley Green, Bailey Zimmerman, T-Pain, Diplo, Wiz Khalifa, The War on Drugs, 2 Chainz, Chase Rice, Three 6 Mafia, 3 Doors Down, Ella Langley, ERNEST, Morgan Wade, Moneybagg Yo and more.
