Miranda Lambert is gearing up to open for fellow country superstar Morgan Wallen on select dates of his 20-date I’m The Problem Stadium Tour.
Miranda Lambert Is “Thrilled” To Join Morgan Wallen On I’m The Problem Tour
While reflecting on the 20th anniversary of her iconic debut album, Kerosene, in a conversation with Variety, the Texas native expressed her excitement about the opportunity to perform for a new audience and open for Wallen.
“Well, you know what? It’s just a huge stage. Especially with someone who’s a younger artist in another generation like Morgan, it’s a whole new dynamic and a whole new audience that may not have seen us before, and I’m thrilled about that. Like, ‘Let’s do it. Let’s go show ’em what our generation is all about,’” Lambert said.
For Lambert, who co-wrote Wallen’s chart-topping hit “Thought You Should Know,” the chance to share her music with Wallen’s fans isn’t the only perk of the gig. She’s also looking forward to an earlier set time. “My other favorite part of it is that I’m done about 8:30, and I can just hang out and watch the show. I’ve been playing shows for forever, and sometimes you just get a little tired of going on late. So this is gonna be awesome,” she continued.

Enjoys Wallen’s Music And Talks Mutual Respect For Each Other
Lambert also talked about how much she enjoys Wallen’s music, how well they work together and the mutual respect they have for each other’s craft and career.
“I think Morgan’s show is great. I think his music’s great. We have collaborated a lot and written songs together, and I just feel like it makes a lot of sense. He’s been very sweet and vocal about respecting what I’ve done in my career. And I think that now is the perfect time to sort of go show his fans who I am, and then vice versa — some of my fans that come to the show can see what he’s doing, and it’s a great opportunity.”
“I respect him as an artist. He is really authentic to who he is. He’s playing for stadiums full of people, for multiple nights. That’s entertainment, you know?” she previously gushed of Wallen during a discussion with Taste Of Country Nights.
