Luke Bryan is preparing to wrap up his Las Vegas residency with his final show on January 6, and the country star has his family in Sin City to help him celebrate. During one of Bryan’s last shows on New Year’s Eve, a special guest showed up on stage when Bryan was surprised by his nephew Til, 22, who joined the fun as Bryan was performing his hit “I Don’t Want This Night to End.”
Luke Bryan And His Nephew Duet And Show Off Their Dance Moves
Appearing on stage mid-song, Til had a microphone in hand and took over the song from his uncle, walking the stage and high-fiving fans as he performed. Til’s vocals were to the delight of his uncle, who doubled over laughing before joining back in as Til continued to sing before breaking out in laughter once again.
As the song began to wind down, Til shouted, “Happy Birthday Aunt Caroline!” in a message to Bryan’s wife, Caroline, who celebrated her birthday on December 31. Bryan officially introduced his nephew to the crowd and invited the audience to “give it up” for him before breaking out into one of his signature hip-shaking dance moves, which Til quickly echoed.
Bryan then led Til up onto the back of the stage where they stood together as sparks rained down from the ceiling, the two sharing a hug as the platform they were standing on began to lower them down and Bryan wished the crowd a happy new year.
Luke Also Serenaded His Wife During A Sweet Birthday Tribute On Stage
Earlier in the night, Bryan brought Caroline on stage for a birthday tribute, serenading his wife with a cover of Neil Diamond’s “Sweet Caroline.” As Bryan performed, the couple danced together to the song, and as it wrapped up, the American Idol judge handed his wife what appeared to be tequila with a lime, which she chugged.
“Happy New Year and Happy Birthday to my wife,” Bryan said as the song ended.
The Bryans Raise Til After His Parents Passed Away
Luke Bryan and Caroline Boyer Bryan began raising Til Cheshire and his older sisters, Kris and Jordan, in 2014 after their father, Ben Lee Cheshire, who was married to Bryan’s late sister Kelly, passed away. In 2020, Bryan told PEOPLE that raising his family was “a social experiment” that he described as “amazing.”
“We woke up and had a teenager in our midst, but we love it,” Bryan shared of Til, who was 14 when he moved in with the Bryans. Jordan was in college and Kris was 16. “It’s nothing but positive. Til is having a blast and I think he’s finally settled in being in Nashville.”
The beloved country couple also share sons Bo, 15, and Tate, 13, who quickly began learning from Til when he moved in. “They learn all the dances from him,” Bryan said. “What is it? The Dab and all that. And the Nae Nae. He teaches them all that. They’re out there in the yard doing that when they score a touchdown.”
