Kane Brown just unleashed a brand-new track, “2 Pair,” and it’s already shaping up to be a summer anthem fans will have on repeat all season long. The global superstar and father of three surprised fans with the release of the track on Friday (June 13).
Produced by Jordan Schmidt, “2 Pair” finds Brown bringing the feel-good energy and breezy vibes that fans crave during the warm summer months. “’2 Pair’ is an anthem for the summer. I wanted to give my fans a song they can blast at full volume and sing along to all summer long,” Brown share of the track via a statement. “It perfectly matches the energy of the best time of the year, and I hope they feel that energy the same way that I do.”
The track reflects Brown’s signature sound that blends country with pop and R&B while also highlighting his laid-back smooth vocal style. Driven by infectious guitar riffs, bold percussion and catchy lyrics that will have you singing along upon first listen, “2 Pair” is tailor-made for tailgate parties, late-night bonfires and summer celebrations of all kinds.
“Give me two pairs of Luccheses/ All-white shirt and some bootcut jeans/ I’ll go all night, stomping to the beat/ I just got a check, blew it all on my feet like/ Ooh, ooh/ Ain’t s**t you can tell me, I feel like Nelly/ Give me two pairs of Luccheses/ All-white shirt and some bootcut jeans, yeah,” Brown sings on the anthemic chorus.
Co-written by Brown alongside Jaxson Free, Jacob Hackworth, Ian Franzino, Gabe Foust and Andrew Haas, “2 Pair” arrived on Friday (June 13) via Sony Music Nashville and follows the release of Brown’s critically acclaimed album, The High Road, which dropped in January 2025.
The High Road features 18 tracks such as “Fiddle In The Band,” “I Can Feel It,” “Backseat Driver,” “I Am,” “3,” “Start A Fire,” “Gorgeous,” “Stay (Reimagined Sugarland Song)” and more. The project, which served as his fourth studio album, was his most personal and meaningful album yet.
“This album, The High Road, is my favorite album I’ve ever made. I get to explore all sides of my story and styles of my music. Every song is important to me, and every collaboration means something personal to me. I’m so incredibly proud of this record,” Brown said of the project.
The album featured six star-studded collaborations with Brad Paisley, Khalid, Jelly Roll, Marshmello and his wife Katelyn Brown. Brown enlisted Paisley on the reflective song “Things We Quit,” teamed up again with Khalid for the R&B track “Rescue,” and Jelly Roll joined the country star on the powerful song “Haunted,” which talks about their mental health struggles. Brown also collaborated with Marshmello on “Miles On It,” marking their second duet together following the success of her chart-topping hit, “One Thing Right.” He also duets with his wife, Katelyn Brown, on two songs, “Body Talk” and the emotional ballad, “Do Us Apart.”

The High Road follows the release of Brown’s 2022 project, Different Man, which features the chart-topping hits “One Mississippi,” “Like I Love Country Music,” “Grand,” “Bury Me In Georgia” and “Thank God” featuring his wife, Katelyn Brown.
Following the success of the U.S. leg of his headlining The High Road Tour, where he headlined sold-out arenas in cities like Nashville, New York, Montreal, and more, Kane Brown will keep the momentum going with a series of solo and festival performances this summer. He’ll then embark on the second leg of the tour, which will take him overseas to Europe and the United Kingdom.
Additionally, Kane Brown is set to cap off his whirlwind year by making his feature film debut in The Token Groomsman.
