Justin Moore and Priscilla Block released a cinematic new music video for their smoldering duet, “You, Me, And Whiskey,” on Thursday evening (Feb. 2).

The country stars brought their single to life with a steamy clip that features a couple who have seemed to have lost the spark in their relationship. To reignite the romance, they crack open a bottle of whiskey and find themselves unable to keep their hands off of each other.

Visions of the beginning of their relationship flash across the screen as the man and woman make their way to the bedroom. They wind up tangled in the sheets together, proving that the fire between them still burns.

The storyline pairs perfectly with the intensity of the song and is intertwined with performance clips of Moore and Block.

The video was directed by Cody Villalobos, a member of Moore’s management team, who also directed Moore’s music videos for “The Ones That Didn’t Make It Back Home” and “Why We Drink.”

In a recent interview with Whiskey Riff, Villalobos shared how the music video came about.

“This video was actually pretty collaborative between us. Justin first came to me with the start of an idea that was fairly vague: He wanted the story to take place in a cabin, with a cold environment. That initial idea evolved between us back and forth for a few days into a fiery love story about a mid-thirties couple using whiskey to reignite their lost flame,” he shared.

As they continued to conceptualize the video, Villalobos said Moore requested to “push the sexiness further and further.”

“Him pushing me to make it hotter, coupled with the flashbacks, makes for a steamy visual that pairs nicely with a smash song,” he added.

Moore And Block Released The Duet In October of 2022

“You, Me, And Whiskey” was co-written by Jessi Alexander, Brock Berryhill, and Cole Taylor and produced by Jeremy Stover and Scott Borchetta. The tune tells the story of a couple who is longing to feel like themselves again after constantly getting wrapped up in the daily “nine-to-five” of life.

After they realize they’ve been “burning it at both ends” for far too long, they decide to finally make time for themselves once again.

“It was you, me, and whiskey all night long / Sinkin’ to the bottom of them country songs / Fire burnin’ hot ‘til the last drop’s gone / Let’s turn it up, turn it up / ‘Til we take that black label buzz too far / And say them things that stay in the dark / Ain’t nothin’ as sweet / Ain’t nothin’ as strong / As you, me and whiskey all night long,” Moore and Block sing on the chorus of the duet.

The fan-favorite ballad, which has already amassed more than 34 million streams, marks both Justin Moore and Priscilla Block’s first duet at Country radio.

“This is my first single that’s a duet. I’ve done duets in the past throughout my career, but never had one as a single and that’s the first video I shot for a single in maybe three or four or five singles,” Moore shared during a livestream on Thursday evening (Feb. 2).

“You, Me, and Whiskey” follows Moore’s 11th No. 1 hit, “With A Woman You Love,” which topped the Country charts in September of 2022.

The Country Hitmakers Are Currently Touring Together

Justin Moore and Priscilla Block are currently on the road together on the You, Me, And Whiskey Tour, aptly titled after their chart-climbing duet.

The trek kicked off on Thursday (Feb. 2) in Rapid City, South Dakota at the James Kjerstad Event Center as part of The Black Hills Stock Show & Rodeo. Moore and Block promised fans that they will be performing the song each night together on the road.

The You, Me, And Whiskey Tour includes shows across the Southwest and Midwest before wrapping up on April 22 in Coralville, Iowa at the Xtream Arena.
