Justin Moore has teamed up with fast-rising country artist Priscilla Block on a new country radio single. And, it’s certain to be all the buzz with country music fans everywhere.

The call and response track titled “You, Me, And Whiskey” officially dropped today (Oct. 7) via The Valory Music Co.

Penned by lauded songwriters Jessi Alexander, Brock Berryhill, and Cole Taylor, “You, Me, And Whiskey,” finds Moore and Block taking turns sharing verses as they sing about taking a break from the 9-5 work week to turn it up and let loose with a bottle of whiskey and the company of each other. By the time the chorus hits the two artists combine their vocals in beautiful harmony, turning the tune into an intoxicating crowd-pleaser made for massive crowds to sing along with.

It was you, me, and whiskey all night long / Sinkin’ to the bottom of them country songs / Fire burnin’ hot ‘til the last drops gone / Let’s turn it up / Turn it up / Til we take that black label buzz too far / And say them things that stay in the dark / Ain’t nothin’ as sweet / Ain’t nothin’ as strong / As you, me, and whiskey / All night long,” the pair sing throughout the chorus of the catchy tune.

Sonically, “You, Me, And Whiskey,” produced by Jeremy Stover and Scott Borchetta, features a mid-tempo pop-country beat alongside subtle electric guitar licks and an instrumental that provides a climax leading into the final chorus.

An unlikely pair perhaps but Moore and Block seem like a perfect match on “You, Me, And Whiskey” with Moore’s signature twang vocals intertwining with Block’s youthful, spunky vocals. And, while the tune plays out like a hook-up track on the first listen, Moore actually had a different perspective on the lyrics when he heard it.

“You read ‘You, Me, And Whiskey,’ and you think spring break, hookup, whatever, but for me, as a guy who’s been married for 15 years with four beautiful children, it’s about making time for your romantic relationship,” Moore, who is a loving husband to wife, Kate Moore, and father to Ella Kole, Rebecca Klein, and Kennedy Faye, said in a press release.

Moore continued, “Our children are priorities in our lives, but we also have to make ‘us’ a priority. That’s what the song represents to me, but the best thing about country music is that it can mean many things to many different people.”

Block too shared her point of view on “You, Me, And Whiskey.”

“Anyone can relate to it because it’s about taking time to work on the things you really need to as a person and in your relationships,” Block said.

“You, Me, And Whiskey,” which marks Moore’s first duet as a single in his 15-year career, is the follow-up to his recently-released “With A Woman You Love. ” The latter of the two, penned alongside Paul DiGiovanni, Chase McGill, and Jeremy Stover, scored Moore his 11th No. 1 hit on Country radio. “You, Me, And Whiskey” serves as the second preview to what fans can expect from Moore’s upcoming sixth studio album, due out sometime in 2023.

And as fans wait patiently for more news surrounding Moore’s forthcoming album, they can find him playing shows as part of his Country On It Tour. For a full list of tour dates, click here.

Meanwhile, Block fans can see her on her Welcome To The Block Party Tour, which kicks off on October 13 at Lori’s Road House in Ohio.
