Johnson has had an extremely successful year thus far, winning his first-ever CMA Awards for Music Video of the Year and Single of the Year for “‘Til You Can’t,” being crowned one of 2022’s CMT Artists of the Year and hitting another one billion streams for the second year in a row.
Produced by Trent Willmon and co-written by Ben Stennis and Matthew J. Rogers, “‘Til You Can’t” was the lead single on Johnson’s latest project, Human: The Double Album. The song became Johnson’s first No.1 and first multi-week No.1 when it reached the top of the charts earlier this year.
The “Me and My Kind” singer joined country megastar Luke Combs on his 2022 stadium tour for select dates and graced the stage for special shows of the Zac Brown Band’s Tour. Johnson has headlined shows throughout the U.S. this year, with 40 sold-out dates under his belt so far.
Johnson recently announced his upcoming 2023 tour, Cody Johnson & Friends, which will begin on January 20 in Lafayette, LA with support from Randy Houser. He will also be joining Combs on additional dates across Australia, kicking off on August 9 in Parnell, New Zealand and coming to a close on August 26 in Perth, Australia.
