On Sunday (Dec. 17), Country music artists will unite at EXIT/IN for “Unplugged For Tennessee,” a Tornado Relief Benefit Concert. The charity concert will raise funds for those impacted by the devastating tornadoes that claimed six lives and resulted in the loss of property for thousands of businesses and residents in Middle Tennessee on Saturday (Dec. 9).

Unplugged For Tennessee

Produced by @NashvilleTN and hosted by Benji Chord, the event will feature performances from HARDY, Nate Smith, Chase Matthew, Alana Springsteen, Dylan Marlowe, Chayce Beckham, Abby Anderson, Trey Lewis, Graham Barham, Payton Smith, Kylie Morgan, Jay Allen and other surprise guests.

“Nashville always seems to find a way to heal and come together after a tragedy,” said Matt Wilson, founder of Media Farm Agency. “And music is a universal part of the healing process in our city.”

Wilson then proceeded to explain how he and his team swiftly organized the show. “This benefit came together extremely fast, thanks to the help of our team and our great friends that wanted to make a difference in the lives of those impacted by the storm. We are so thankful for the artists who volunteered so quickly to help and donate their time and talent for such a worthy cause,” he continued.

Who Will The Concert Benefit?

100% net proceeds from the event will benefit Hands On Nashville and The American Red Cross – Tennessee Region. “Being prepared is key when something like this happens,” Matt Wilson continued. “So we chose to benefit Hands on Nashville and The American Red Cross, who are leaders in disaster response in Middle Tennessee.”

According to an official press release, Hands On Nashville “connects volunteers to critical needs facing the community, including disaster response and recovery efforts.” Meanwhile, The American Red Cross – Tennessee Region is “providing essential disaster relief services, including shelter, food, and support, to those affected by the tornado,” the same press release reads.

After @NashvilleTN announced the show on Instagram, “Unplugged For Tennessee” quickly sold-out within an hour of on sale.

“SOLD OUT in just over an hour 🙏 Wow. So grateful to be a part of such an incredible community of people coming together to help those in need,” the event organizers wrote on Instagram. “A massive THANK YOU to everyone who took the time to put this together, pulled strings at the last minute to make this happen, to @exit_in for agreeing to host, to all of the artists and their teams involved, the charities @honashville and @redcrosstn@mediafarmagency@mwilson_mediaman @thebenjichord and @thechaseberlin, our current donors @gibsonguitar @c3bank @luogorestaurant @pelatorestaurant and everyone who bought a ticket. We couldn’t do this without you!!”
