Koe Wetzel has some new ink, a chicken tender tattoo, that was tattooed by Raising Cane’s CEO Todd Graves.
During a boys’ trip to Montana this week, the singer shared a video of himself on social media getting a tattoo from Raising Cane’s CEO Todd Graves, Wetzel’s good friend who was also on the trip.
Chicken Tender Tattoo
The clip, which has amassed over 4.3 million views in just under 36 hours, starts with Graves drawing out his design on Wetzel’s thigh, quickly tracing the outline with a tattoo needle as Wetzel swore.
“Nothing like a little drunk tattooing,” Graves told the camera, declaring, “Oh yeah, that’s perfect.”
“I got the state of Kentucky and Todd Graves on my thigh,” Wetzel cracked about his new design, which is Graves’ initials below what’s supposed to be a chicken tender with “a little bit of crust.”

“If you’re going to get a chicken tender tattoo, then why not get it from the founder of @raisingcanes himself?” Wetzel captioned the video, which was probably a rhetorical question but could be answered by noting that Graves isn’t actually a tattoo artist.
Koe Is Also A Fan Of The Taco Bell
Raising Cane’s isn’t the only fast food restaurant Wetzel is a fan of, having released his song “February 28, 2016 (The Taco Bell Song)” in 2016, though the singer has since revealed that he only went to Taco Bell on the night he sang about because his town didn’t have a Raising Cane’s.
In the song, which Wetzel wrote after being arrested, he asks for someone to take him to Taco Bell, though he’s since edited the lyrics to shoutout Raising Cane’s over the years, including on February 28 of this year when he joined Graves at an exclusive food truck pop-up event at The Outfield in Nashville along with some of Wetzel’s friends including Trey Lewis, Bailey Zimmerman, Caleigh Hardy, Dylan Marlowe and Mandie and Danae.
“Koe and I have become good friends over the years, so I was stoked to celebrate Koe Wetzel Day and the start of his ‘Road to Hell Paso Tour’ with him and some of his friends on Tuesday,” Graves told MusicRow at the time. “His song, ‘February 28, 2016’ is iconic, so to have him sing new lyrics that include Raising Cane’s on the same date was amazing.”

Raising Cane’s actually sponsored Wetzel’s latest tour, The Road to Hell Paso Tour.
“I’m fine trading in tacos for chicken fingers and Cane’s Sauce moving forward on Feb. 28,” the musician shared. “I had a great time hanging out with friends and learning how to man a food truck with Todd and the Cane’s Crew. I’ve been a fan of Raising Cane’s for a long time, and I appreciate Todd, his friendship and Cane’s sponsorship for my ‘Road to Hell Paso Tour.’”
Will Soon Join Eric Church On Tour
This fall, Wetzel will join Eric Church on Church’s Outsiders Revival Tour, joining a lineup of support acts including Lainey Wilson, Jelly Roll, Red Clay Strays, Midland and Ray Wylie Hubbard.
“That’s who I listen to,” Church told Rolling Stone. “This past weekend, we had Koe Wetzel and Shane Smith & the Saints, and it was interesting. They both came up on the bus and they were talking about ‘How did you even [hear us]?’ I said, ‘I like you guys.’”
“Shane Smith was saying, ‘We’ve thought about quitting for a while,’” Church continued. “And I said, ‘Listen, this happens to everybody. You guys are good. You should keep doing it. And I’m glad you’re here. I’m glad you played in front of the people you did.’ That was me 20 years ago.”
Additionally, Koe Wetzel will also perform at several festivals this summer, including Georgia Country Music Fest and more.
