Grand Ole Opry member Blake Shelton returned to the Grand Ole Opry stage on Saturday evening (Sept. 10) and he brought along a very special guest, his wife Gwen Stefani.

Moments after Shelton introduced the Season 18 winner of The Voice, Todd Tilghman, to the stage for his Opry debut, Shelton returned to the circle to perform his brand-new single “No Body.”

He then shocked the crowd with a pair of chart-topping duets with Stefani.

“So I told y’all at the beginning that this was a very special night for me. It’s all about The Voice. Just like with Todd Tilghman, how long that performance had been coming… This next performance has been a long time coming also,” Shelton shared before the No Doubt singer joined him for “Nobody But You.”

Donning a sparkling hot pink dress, Stefani strutted onto Country music’s most famous stage to join her husband. Fans inside the packed Opry House welcomed her with a standing ovation and roaring applause as she belted out the lyrics to the fan-favorite hit.

“I don’t wanna live without you, / I don’t wanna even breathe / I don’t wanna dream about you / Wanna wake up with you next to me / I don’t wanna go down any other road now / I don’t wanna love nobody but you / Looking in your eyes now, if I had to die now / I don’t wanna love nobody but you (You),” The Voice coaches sang together in perfect harmony.

As the pair sang the final lyrics of “Nobody But You,” Shelton took the opportunity to introduce the crowd to his superstar wife.

“By the way, everybody, may I also welcome for the first time to the stage of the Grand Ole Opry, Gwen Stefani,” Shelton told the audience at the conclusion of the song.

Shelton looked on with a smile as Stefani admitted she had butterflies when stepping into the sacred circle for the first time ever.

“I’m shaking,” Stefani confessed. “I’m so nervous…. so excited!”

While addressing the crowd, Stefani admitted she never thought she’d wind up on the Opry stage as someone who rose to fame outside of the country genre.

“This is one of those things you don’t dream about if you’re me,” she shared. “Then all of a sudden, I’m up here with Blake Shelton. It’s a miracle. I’m so grateful. Thank you so much.”

Proving they are truly “Happy Anywhere,” the beloved couple closed out the Opry broadcast with a performance of their second chart-topping duet.

Prior to the curtain closing, Shelton sweetly gave the spotlight to his wife as he shouted, “Gwen Shelton… everybody.”

Stefani previously made her Opry broadcast debut in May of 2020 with a performance of “Nobody But You” alongside Shelton from Ole Red in Tishomingo, Oklahoma.

Earlier in the show, Shelton spoke with host Runaway June’s Natalie Stovall, who admitted she was nervous standing beside the country star.

“Oh my Lord, I didn’t know you were going to be standing right next to me, I was just going to tell everybody that I’m a little bit nervous hosting tonight because Blake, he hosted five straight years in a row of the ACM Awards,” Stovall said. ”You’ve even hosted Saturday Night Live, I mean come on… I’m very impressed by that because that is like the Top Gun of hosting y’all. I mean to all of us musicians/hosts that’s like you know you’re like the Tom Cruise of Country. He’s the Maverick of Country.”

Shelton took the title in stride as he jokingly shared, “Put that in your diary. Put that in your notes on your phone. Blake Shelton is the Tom Cruise of Country music!”
