Trisha Yearwood said that singing a duet with Garth Brooks at the Grand Ole Opry is “truly magical.”

In celebration of The Grand Ole Opry’s 95th Anniversary, Country superstar’s spoke with PEOPLE about some of their favorite memories. In the interview Yearwood revealed her dream Opry duet even though it already happened, more than once.

When being asked who is your dream Opry duet, she replied “Honestly, it’s my husband [Garth Brooks].”

Continuing to say “I feel that the word “magic” comes up a lot in our relationship, but when we sing together at the Opry, it’s truly magical. I think it’s because we share our love for the Opry and our respect for what it represents. We both know how special those moments are.”

The superstar also shared her favorite song to perform on the Opry, in which Yearwood said “She’s In The Love With The Boy.”

“It will always be “She’s in Love with the Boy.” If I didn’t sing it in my two-song set, Porter Wagoner, who was my champion at the Opry, would walk out on stage and say, “Sing the one that brung ya!” And I would,” Yearwood explained. “I sing “She’s in Love with the Boy” every time I play the Opry now, always for Porter. I miss him.

Yearwood recently performed her latest single “I’ll Carry You Home” for the first time at the 2020 ACM Awards to honor those we lost this year in the country music community. The song is a track from her critically acclaimed 2019 album, Every Girl.
