Jeremy Rosado, a finalist on season 21 of NBC’s The Voice, recently signed a record deal with Capitol Christian Music Group. A 29-year-old singer who’s originally from Queens, New York, Rosado competed on Team Kelly Clarkson.

“I am so honored to be joining the Capitol Christian Music Group family,” Rosado said. “I’ve been pursuing this dream of mine for 10 years and those years have been filled with ups and downs. This season has been so redeeming for me and my story…the path that I’ve walked to get here has not been easy, but everything I’ve faced in my life so far has led me to this point.”

“I’m finding myself living in a state of gratitude at what God has done and how He has brought my dream back to life! I’m beyond excited for what the future holds, and thrilled to be walking into this next chapter with the Capitol team alongside me,” he added.

Rosado auditioned for Season 21 of The Voice with country band, Rascal Flatts’ “Here Comes Goodbye,” adding his own R&B twist to the song. Rosado earned praise from all four judges and a chair turn from both Clarkson and Blake Shelton.

While Clarkson and Shelton duked it out for the chance to get to coach Rosado, he ultimately chose the former.

During his Top 11 performance, Rosado sang a cover of Christian singer Cory Asbury’s “Reckless Love.” The song was a natural fit for Rosado, who’s a worship leader, and prompted Clarkson to say he had the potential to be “a male Lauren Daigle.”

Rosado shared that he’d signed to Capitol Christian Music Group with fans via his Instagram, saying he was “excited” and “still in disbelief” over the news.

In another post, Rosado thanked his family, management and several others who helped him on his musical journey.

“Trying to write down what I feel right now!!!” Rosado wrote. “CAPITOL MUSIC, it’s gotta be a dream! I’ve fought, prayed, cried, believed, sacrificed, gave up, tried again for the past 10 years for a chance to be a full time Recording Artist and the time has finally come!!! Can’t believe this tbh!”

He continued, “Thank you to: My Family, my parents, my daughter, my friends for supporting me all these years, sacrificing time and so much more to help make this dream a reality! My Team at First Company Management, Derek, Brandi, Mike, Dave, Wes and everyone there, thank you for believing before I had a deal and jumping on board with me, working every day to make this happen! My lawyer Aaron Rice, you’ve fought for me since day 1, grateful is an understatement, none of this would be, without you! Love you Rizzle!”

He then thanked his The Voice family, including Kelly Clarkson and Ariana Grande and the NBC producers.

@kellyclarkson and @arianagrande thank you both for speaking so much into me in this season, giving me tips, advice, coaching me thru this process of meeting with Labels and supporting me! I love you both so much, it means the world to me!
@nbcthevoice changed my life, thank you, NBC, my exec @brittanymartinporter my casting producer @gavrees and everyone at the show for believing and giving me a shot!”

He concluded the post, thanking his new record label team for helping to support him and make his dream a reality.

“To my new Team at Capitol: Brad, Hudson, and EJ, Garrett, especially Josh Bailey, without you this wouldn’t have happened, thank you for believing in me, and thank you to the whole staff, thank you for your belief and desire to help me make the best music I can, that will spread the love of God throughout the world! Team Jeremy, without you and your support on The Voice and after the show ended, this wouldn’t have happened, I love you with all of me! JESUS!!! Lord, you have far surpassed anything I could hope or imagine, such a gracious God, I don’t deserve this but you call me worthy and I will give the rest of my life to tell people about you!”

Having signed his record deal, Rosado is hard at work making music that he plans to release later this year. He will also hit the road this fall with the Newsboys on their STAND Together Tour, the release indicated.
