Shania Twain is heading back to Sin City, announcing her new Las Vegas residency, Shania Twain: COME ON OVER – The Las Vegas Residency – All The Hits!
The residency will begin on May 10, 2024, at Bakkt Theater at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino with 24 performances currently scheduled through December 2024.
Tickets go on sale starting Monday, Aug. 21 at 10 a.m. PT at ticketmaster.com/shaniavegas with multiple resales for artist fans and Caesars Rewards members, Caesars Entertainment’s loyalty program, and Live Nation and Ticketmaster customers.
Shania Twain’s Come On Over Las Vegas Residency
“I am excited to be returning to Vegas for my third residency COME ON OVER, performing in Vegas is a huge honor and I love this theatre,” Twain said in a statement. “The audience can expect ALL THE HITS with a few fan favorites from the new album in there too. I am in a celebratory mood and there is nowhere better to party than VEGAS so I hope you all join me!”
One dollar from each ticket purchased for the residency will be donated to Shania Kids Can, which Twain established in 2010.
The organization provides programs that educate, inspire and empower children in vulnerable communities to achieve their full potential, increasing their chance for equality and opportunities for success, and past donations from ticket sales have given over $1.5 million dollars in donations to SKC.
Twain’s Third Stint In Vegas
This will be Twain’s third Vegas jaunt, and her second at the Bakkt Theater, where she performed her “Let’s Go” residency from 2019-2022. From 2012-2014, she performed her “Still the One” residency at Caesars Palace.
Twain just wrapped up the sold-out first leg of her Queen of Me Tour, which will resume in September in the UK with support from BRELAND before returning to North America in October.
Obsessed With Fashion
On the road, Twain has been thrilling fans with over-the-top get-ups complete with capes, colored wigs and lots of sparkles. The Canadian star has long been known for her love of fashion, creating a number of iconic looks in her music videos, and plans to bring that passion to her new Vegas show.
“I’m going to be playing around with the fashion more in the Come on Over residency because… I’ve really discovered the joy of creating my styling myself,” she told PEOPLE. “I’ve always collaborated, but this is a whole other level. I’m going to be doing more of that at the Come on Over residency.”
Twain is a superstar of the highest level with decades of experience, and that experience has been a factor in her latest endeavors, including the residency.
“I’m always learning, but I am enjoying the maturity of having the confidence in my decision making,” she said. “I’m enjoying the confidence that experience has given me now, and it just gives me a lot of room to play, and it gives me a lot of room to be spontaneous. I’ve got more confidence in being spontaneous and trying new things, as well.”
Gave Update On Her Health
After the stratospheric heights of her early career, Twain faced several health issues including battles with Lyme disease and dysphonia and a serious case of COVID in 2020. Now, she shares that her health is “great.”
“I don’t know where this energy is coming from right now,” the singer reflected. “I mean, maybe it’s gratitude [and] I think it’s a combination of gratitude and confidence… I’ve got just more self-confidence. Self-doubt, I just don’t have time for that. I would rather be wrong and make a mistake but still be moving forward than to be stuck or fenced in by fear or self-doubt. Just no time for that, no room for that. And the things that have taught me that have been the ailments along the way.”
She added, “I do work too hard sometimes, but if it’s something that I’m loving, good luck trying to slow me down.”
