Miranda Lambert and her husband Brendan McLoughlin had “a wonderful trip” to Ireland earlier this month.
Following Lambert’s headlining performance at Country 2 Country Festival (C2C) in Dublin, Ireland, the country superstar and former New York Police Officer stayed a few extra weeks for an Irish getaway.
On Monday evening (Mar. 21), Lambert shared a series of photos on Instagram from her and her husband’s Irish vacation.
“Ireland 2022. 💖🍺🍀,” Lambert captioned a series of photos from their trip.
During their time in Ireland, the couple visited Kenmare (County Kerry), Adare (County Limerick) and Ballyfin Demesne (County Laois).
While visiting the Irish towns, Lambert and McLoughlin share pints of Guinness, ate tasty chocolates, joined a cooking class as well as made custom perfumes and had a shot of moonshine at Molly Gallivan’s after eating some of the “yummiest bread and butter.”
“Thank you, Ireland, for the most wonderful trip. For the Guinness, green pastures, chocolate, (@hazelmountainchocolate) cooking class, (@kenmarefoodie), perfume making (@burrenperfumery), [ate the] yummiest bread n butter ever, Molly Gallivan’s cottage with a shot of Molly’s moonshine 🤠, the history lesson and most importantly the nicest people we have ever met. Sean you were a great guide and so sweet to drive us all over the country!”
Lambert and McLoughlin had such a great time that the “If I Was A Cowboy” singer shared that they “can’t wait to come back to the homeland to visit again soon and see the friends we made. 🍀🍺miss y’all already! 💖”
The couple also spent St. Patrick’s Day in Ireland with a Guinness in hand.
“Happy St. Patrick’s Day from the McLoughlin’s! #homeland #Ireland,” Lambert wrote alongside a photo of her and McLoughlin standing cheek to cheek.
McLoughlin also documented the moment on Instagram, writing, “Happy St. Patrick’s Day from the homeland with @mirandalambert .”
The couple is pictured wearing green ensembles with a cold Guinness in hand while seated at a wooden table in Ireland.
The couple’s St. Patrick’s Day celebration comes just after Lambert headlined the C2C: Country To Country Festival. Lambert and McLoughlin made the most of their trip and even spent some time sightseeing around the countries they visited.
“London, Dublin and Glasgow, thanks for singing along @c2cfestival @brendanjmcloughlin and I got to see some old friends, make some new friends, paint some street art with Kareem and see some beautiful sights. Can’t wait to come back soon! ,” Lambert wrote alongside photos from her trip overseas.
