Sam Hunt, Kane Brown, ERNEST, Luke Combs, Jason Aldean, Carrie Underwood, Miranda Lambert and more enjoyed a snow day in Nashville. Music City transformed into a winter wonderland on Monday (Jan. 15), bringing a rare winter day with several inches of accumulated snow.
The country superstars took advantage of the winter storm and appreciated the chance to go out and play with their kids and pets in the snow. Hitmakers opted to sled, have snowball fights, bake and more while enjoying the winter weather on their day off due to the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday.
Each of the country stars took to social media to give fans a glimpse into their fun-filled snow day.
Kane Brown and Katelyn Brown
Brown, his wife Katelyn and their two daughters Kingsley Rose and Kodi Jane opted for a snow day in their backyard. Katelyn documented their fun-filled snowy day, which included footage of her husband, Kane Brown, and their kids enjoying a sled ride down the slopes in the backyard of their Tennessee residence.
“We’re out here sledding. Are you having fun? It’s still snowing so hard, this is our big hill,” Katelyn said in a clip in her Instagram stories. “It’s still snowing, and we are loving it!”
In addition to sledding, Kane took advantage of the snowy weather conditions and took his Polaris RZR out for a ride. Katelyn revealed that after seeing people stranded at gas stations nearby, Kane Brown generously offered out his phone number to get people home in the treacherous winter conditions via his Polaris.
“Currently, Kane went to the gas station this morning, and he has seen people working, and he is giving them rides home from work. He gave them his number and told them to call whenever they get off, and he would give them rides home. So, currently, Kane is like the Uber driver of Nashville,” Katelyn continued.

Hunt took his daughter, Lucy, outside to capture an adorable snapshot in the snow. The photo featured Hunt, with his hair slicked back, wearing khaki pants and a flannel with a jacket, holding his daughter as snow showered down upon them, making for a picture-perfect moment.

“This is not a paid advertisement…. But this thing eats snow,” the “Flower Shops” wrote on Instagram alongside a photo of himself in the snow wearing a cowboy, standing in front of a Land Rover Defender.
Jason Aldean
Jason and Brittany Aldean’s two kids, Memphis and Navy, suited up in their snow gear and enjoyed a day outside having a snowball fight.
“I love being snowed in with my little fam🥹❄️,” Brittany captioned the post, featuring her two kids wearing North Face snowsuits and Carhartt hats, as well as the kids enjoying a cup of hot chocolate.
Carrie Underwood
Underwood took to Instagram stories on Monday (Jan. 15) to share a photo of her son, Jacob, looking out the window, admiring the winter wonderland in their backyard. The “Out Of That Truck” singer also baked a cinnamon-infused sourdough in the shape of a snowflake.
Luke Combs
Combs, his wife, Nicole Hocking Combs, their son Tex Lawrence and dog Jojo stepped out into their backyard to explore the snow.
“Actually in town to see the snow this year, so I’m about to spam you alllll day like the rest of Nashville,” Nicole wrote captioned a clip in her Instagram stories.
“Jojo is absolutely losing his mind,” Nicole captioned the Instagram story, which featured the dog running around like a maniac in the yard as Combs and Tex wandered. At one point in the clip, Tex used his “little voice” and shouted “woah” as he admired the wintry weather and walked around in the several inches of snow.
Miranda Lambert
Lambert was brought to tears by the below zero cold as she fed her horses on her Tennessee farm.
“Feeding this morning. This southern gal is NOT made for the cold,” she wrote as she walked through her stable and show fans each of her horses in their stalls. She also shared that it was only 11 degrees outside where she is.
She continued to document her day via her Instagram stories, which then showcased her getting hay to feed the horses in the frigid temperatures. “Cowgirls don’t cry…unless they are from Texas and don’t understand this kind of weather at all. Truth [is] I cried a little. My hands are numb. Need a hot toddy asap,” she wrote.
Kenny Chesney
Chesney took his pup, Poncho, for some fun in the snow before they cosied up together in the warmth of their Tennessee home.
“Snow day with my best friend,” the country superstar captioned the carousel of images.
Kelsea Ballerini
Ballerini played with her dog, Dibs, after enjoying some time in her hot tub and shared a kiss with her boyfriend, Chase Stokes.
“Don’t say it don’t say it don’t s- I THINK I LIKE THIS LITTLE LIFE,” Ballerini captioned the series of images and videos.
