P!NK takes a daring leap of faith in her new music video for “Trustfall,” which dropped on Friday morning (Jan. 27).

The video opens with a person crouched over a cliff overlooking the ocean as the singer recites with deep sincerity, “Are you gonna fall? Is someone supposed to catch you? Or do you catch yourself? There will be something worth falling for.”

The theme of solitude carries over to a young girl in distress over a guy at a bustling house party. Clearly in an emotional state, she rides away on a motorcycle and the scene cuts straight to P!NK standing on the rooftop of the Illusion Hotel where she sings the first verses of the song.

“Picture a place where it all doesn’t hurt/ Where everything’s safe and it doesn’t get worse/ Oh my, we see through bloodshot eyes/ Picture a place somewhere else far away/ Where you know what they mean and they mean what they say to us/ And would that be enough,” she sings.

Leading up to the chorus, the young protagonist rides away alongside the ocean. In a split second, the singer pushes the girl off the cliff, and the scene immediately cuts to Georgia Hudson’s incredibly directed visual of the girl floating off her bike in slow motion while P!NK passionately belts the chorus of the tune.

“Close your eyes and leave it all behind / Go where love is on our side / It’s a trustfall baby / It’s a trustfall baby / You and I and everyone alive / We can run into the fire / It’s a trustfall baby / It’s a trustfall baby,” P!NK sings.

Choreographed by Ryan Heffington, P!NK shows off her impressive dance skills in a dark street outside the girl’s house. The substantial intensity of the choreo builds until the climax hits, and then shot cuts to P!NK slowly falling off the roof of the hotel.

Ending with P!NK embracing the scared girl in a hug, she intones: “You’re sh–t scared, and your whole body is shaking. Go in there and just f—ing do it. Just do it whatever it is and then boom, it’s gone. The fear is gone.”

Co-produced by Fred and Snow Patrol’s Johnny McDaid who doubled as a co-writer with the singer, the song is an ode to falling back on faith and standing taller than your fears.

The Pennsylvania native will release her ninth studio album, Trustfall, on Feb 17 via RCA Records. This will be her first album release since 2019’s Hurts 2B Human. Her first single off the album, “Never Gonna Not Dance Again,” dropped in November of last year alongside a playful music video.

P!nk Will Soon Embark On A Massive 2023 Stadium Tour

On the heels of her album release, the international superstar will also be embarking on a massive 2023 Stadium Tour, dubbed the Summer Carnival Tour. It will kick off on July 24 in Toronto, Ontario at Rogers Centre and continue through October 9, wrapping up in Phoenix, Arizona at Chase Field.

The 21-city tour will visit iconic venues such as Boston’s Fenway Park, NYC’s Citi Field, Chicago’s Wrigley Field, Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium and more. It will also feature special guests Brandi Carlile, Pat Benatar & Neil Giraldo, Grouplove and DJ Kid Cut Up.
