Luckily for Spears, who is the younger sister of Britney Spears, she and her family were able to attend Morgan Wallen’s show right before he was forced to abruptly cancel his Oxford concert the following day, citing a need for vocal rest.

“After last night’s show, I started losing my voice, so I spent the day resting up, talking to my doctor and working through my vocal exercises trying to get better,” Wallen issued a statement in an Instagram story. “I really thought I’d be able to take the stage, and it kills me to deliver this so close to showtime, but my voice is shot, and I am unable to sing.”

“All tickets will be refunded at point of purchase. I am so sorry. I promise you guys I tried everything I could,” he added.

As for Jamie Lynn Spears, she recently released a book titled Things I Should Have Said, which, according to the description finds the sister of pop superstar Britney Spears talking “frankly about the highs and lows, sharing what it was like traveling the world as a kid, how she moved into acting and performing herself, what life as a child star took from her, and the life-changing reality of becoming a teen mom. She talks about how she finally found love and how the mistakes she has made have taught her more than anything else.
