Carrie Underwood, her mom, Carole, and sisters, Shanna and Stephanie, got matching heart tattoos together in Las Vegas.

The superstar took to social media to share several photos of their tattoo rendezvous and admitted she was shocked at the unexpected suggestion from her mom.

“When your 74-year-old mother asks you and your sisters to get matching tattoos with her in Vegas, the only questions are, ‘what?’ and ‘where?,’” Underwood captioned her Instagram post. “I never would’ve thought I’d see the day that Mama Carole would be gettin’ some ink! 😂❤️”

Duet With Her Mom On Stage In Vegas

Carrie Underwood’s mom, Carole, famously joined the superstar on stage in Las Vegas for a performance of “All-American Girl”  last year. Re-live the moment HERE

This isn’t the first time the Oklahoma native teamed up with family to get a tattoo. Several weeks ago, Underwood went on a girls’ trip to Destin, Florida with her sisters-in-law and they all left the Sunshine State with new ink.

During this trip, Underwood chose to get a delicate daisy tattoo on her forearm. The artwork features a bit of color with a green stem, yellow center and light pink petals.

“From the beach to the tattoo parlor, Destin didn’t know what hit it! I love you ladies,” Underwood wrote at the time.

Carrie Underwood’s REFLECTION: The Las Vegas Residency

It appears that the eight-time GRAMMY winner’s family was in Las Vegas to catch a show on the latest leg of her ongoing REFLECTION: The Las Vegas Residency at Resorts World Theatre.

Underwood returned to the state-of-the-art venue on June 21 and thrilled the sold-out crowd with show-stopping performances of her biggest hits, including “Before He Cheats,” “Blown Away, “Cry Pretty,” and the showstopping finale, “Something in the Water.”

Additionally, the superstar added to the production with an all-new performance of the title track of her Denim & Rhinestones album.

Underwood wrapped up her time in Vegas on Saturday, July 1 and will return to Sin City this fall. She has several dates planned throughout September, November, and December.

Deluxe Album Coming Soon

On top of her return to Vegas and the recent launch of her brand-new SiriusXM station, CARRIE’S COUNTRY, Underwood also announced plans to release Denim & Rhinestones (Deluxe Edition) with six new tracks. To celebrate the announcement, Underwood shared the brand-new track, “Take Me Out.”

Co-written by Underwood with David Garcia and Hillary Lindsey, “Take Me Out” shares the familiar story of a romance that needs rekindling due to the everyday hustle and bustle of life. Throughout the lyrics, Underwood begs her partner to “kiss me like it’s the first time tonight” and take her out on the town.

“And take me out on the town/ Flirt with me in the dark/ Make my heart skip a beat/ Like only you can do to me/ Stealin’ kisses in some old dive bar/ Make me feel like your woman/ Slow burnin’ in a neon crowd/ Yeah, I’m wantin’ you to want me, baby/ So take me out/ Take me out,” she sings on the chorus.

New Single, “Out Of That Truck”

Additionally, the release of “Take Me Out” comes as her latest single, “Out Of That Truck,” was officially released to country radio as her next single.

“Out Of That Truck” isn’t your typical truck song. The breakup anthem puts the superstar’s powerhouse vocals at the forefront as she sends a message to her ex.

Throughout the lyrics, Underwood warns her past lover that memories of her won’t be quick to fade away. In fact, she says there’s “so much of me left I bet you must get déja vu.”

“When you’re runnin’ around in that stick shift Chevy/ I bet it drives you crazy/ Thinking about us on every/ Other back road, baby/ You got someone new on your bench seat/ Trying to forget me lately/ But my memory’s stuck/ So good luck/ Trying to get me out of that truck,” she sings on the guitar-heavy chorus.

Carrie Underwood wrote “Out Of That Truck” alongside David Garcia and Lydia Vaughn.
