Morgan Wallen is getting ready to launch his highly anticipated I’m The Problem Tour with back-to-back shows at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas on June 20 and 21. To build excitement, he gave fans a sneak peek of what to expect by revealing his full set list, via an Apple Music Country playlist.
Morgan Wallen Reveals I’m The Problem Tour Set List: 27 Songs
According to the playlist, the East Tennessee native’s set will span approximately 90-minutes with a 27-song set list. The promises to take fans on a journey through all four of his studio albums, including If I Know Me (2018), Dangerous: The Double Album (2021), One Thing At A Time (2023) and I’m The Problem (2025).
“There’s a bunch of songs on there that I’m excited to play [live],” Wallen teased with the streaming platform, also noting that he’s seen how well “I’m The Problem” is doing and revealing that he loves singing “I’m A Little Crazy” live.
Out of Morgan Wallen’s 27-song set list, 13 songs are from his fourth studio album, I’m The Problem, including “Kick Myself,” “I Got Better,” “Love Somebody,” “20 Cigarettes,” “TN,” “Kiss Her In Front Of You,” “Don’t We,” “I’m A Little Crazy,” “Superman,” “Dark Til Daylight,” “What I Want,” “Just In Case” and album’s title track.
As he prepares to hit the road, Wallen also opened up about the physical demands of touring and how he’s been getting in shape to meet them.
“I spend months at this point getting ready to get on tour, just getting in shape. I don’t have to be in any kind of crazy shape to record in the studio,” Wallen told Apple Music Country. “With how big my stage is, how much I run around, and how much effort that me and the guys put into it, I don’t think you would know that by just listening to my record.”
Hopes To Change Up His Set List By Rotating Songs In And Out Of Show
He previously opened up about his set list during an appearance on Theo Von’s podcast, This Past Weekend with Theo Von (episode 573). “It’s hard picking a set list at this point, too. That gets real tricky,” he admitted. He detailed that the process of creating a set list is a collaborative effort between him, his band and analytics. “A lot of it’s data driven because you can see what songs the majority of people want to hear,” he explained. “You’re always going to miss somebody’s favorite song. You’re probably going to miss my favorite song in some sets.”
He also shared that since the tour includes just 20 shows, he plans to keep things fresh by rotating songs in and out of the set list each night. “Last year I interchanged a couple [songs], but I think it’s going to be… I’m going to make a bigger effort to try to make the set list different for at least each night,” Wallen continued. “Maybe not every single show would be a different set list, but night one/night two, because we’re playing two nights in each place, so trying to separate the two nights as far as music goes should be interesting because we’ve never done that before.”
“There’s really no way to do it perfectly,” he confessed of crafting his tour set list. “Somebody’s going to be disappointed… but trying our best.”
