Morgan Wallen shared a life update and teased forthcoming new music.

The country superstar took to his Instagram on Friday (Aug. 19) to share what he’s recently been up to and reveal that he filmed the music video for his current single “You Proof,” which has been climbing the charts at Country radio.

“Hey, What’s going on y’all? I just wanted to pop on here and say hello and let you know that I’ve been working on some new stuff,” Wallen said, before adding, “I just shot a music video for ‘You Proof.’ I got to do some wild stuff for that one, so, I can’t wait for that one to come out and for y’all to see it.”

Wallen reportedly filmed the music video in Tennessee with Charly Jordan, according to several posts shared by fans.

The East Tennessee native then teased fans about new music he’s been working on.

“I’ve been working on new music. I’ve been in the studio, I’ve been grinding, I’ve been writing a lot,” Wallen shared. He then revealed he and HARDY recently wrote a tune that he’s excited about.

“Me and HARDY just wrote one on the road the other day that I’m really pumped about. It’s one of the best ones that we’ve written in a long time, if not ever,” Wallen continued in the clip. “Still been grinding on the golf course a little bit. Still can’t hit my driver very good, that’s the one club that is my arch nemesis. I don’t know what else is new.”

He concluded the clip by graciously thanking fans for their support.

“I just wanted to pop on here and say thanks for everything, thanks for this year, it’s been awesome and I can’t wait to finish it out strong,” Wallen added. “I really appreciate you guys and how good you’ve been to me and we’ll see you out of the road somewhere, I hope. God Bless.”

Morgan Wallen Has “12 Songs Finished” For His New Project

Wallen previously opened up about new music on Country Countdown with Lon Helton, where he revealed that he has been writing new material and already has 12 songs finished.

“I’ve already got 12 songs finished, maybe more. I’m just trying to beat what I’ve got,” Wallen told Helton while co-hosting the show. “I’m confident in whatever I do next already. Overall I feel pretty comfortable. I don’t feel rushed. I’ve got other things, I’ve got the tour, I’ve got my son, so I’m glad that I’ve already spent some time on the next project,” he added.

Additionally, the country hitmaker also earned six new RIAA Certifications earlier this month, including “Whiskey Glasses” (7x Platinum), “Up Down” (4x Platinum), “Talkin’ Tennessee” (1x Platinum), “If I Know Me” (1x Platinum), “Had Me By Halftime” (Gold) and “Flower Shops” (Gold).

Morgan Wallen recently released his latest single “You Proof”

Upon release, the tune quickly became the most-added song with 52 adds and a total of 94 historic adds.

Co-written by Wallen alongside Ashley Gorley, Ernest K. Smith (ERNEST) and Charlie Handsome, “You Proof” finds Wallen singing about drinking away the memory of a previous lover.

“Ain’t nobody sellin’ nothing you proof / something stronger than I’m used to / I’ve been pouring 90-100 feelin’ like nothing’s gonna cut it that’s the hard truth / I need something you proof / I need something you proof,” Wallen sings in the chorus.

Wallen Is In The Midst Of His Sold-Out Dangerous Tour

The award-winning superstar is currently in the midst of his massive The Dangerous Tour in support of his record-breaking sophomore project, Dangerous: The Double Album. The tour, which is the biggest country tour of 2022 and runs through October, recently sold-out with over 800,000 tickets sold, according to Up2DateCountry on Instagram.

The trek features support from HARDY and Larry Fleet, Lainey Wilson, Kameron MarloweChase Rice, Ian Munsick, and ERNEST on select dates.

The chart-topping singer/songwriter also announced his first-ever Stadium show in Arlington, Texas, at Globe Life Field on October 8, 2022, with special guests HARDY, Mike Ryan and Jake Worthington.
