Morgan Wallen’s next album is going to bring him together with one of the most important people in his life. The record-breaking country superstar will release his third album, One Thing At A Time, on March 3, and featured on the highly-anticipated collection, will be his sister, Ashlyne.

Wallen opened up about his forthcoming 36-track album during a Republic Records GRAMMY listening event in Los Angeles and revealed Ashlyne will share harmonies on a faith-filled, not-yet-released track titled “Outlook.”

Wallen And Ashlyne Are “Super Tight”

“We’ve always been super, super tight,” Wallen said of his sister, according to Billboard. “We grew up in church singing hymns and stuff and learning how to harmonize with each other and sing three-part harmony.”

The country hitmaker also explained the reason why he chose his sister for that particular faith-based track, which is also one of the first songs he ever wrote.

“It seemed appropriate from everything that we grew up learning and everything that we lived through together,” Wallen said.

Wallen is close to his sister. In fact, the two are only 15 months apart. He has publicly been open about the special sibling bond they share. A fan page dedicated to Wallen even shows a video of him celebrating Ashlyne’s 28th birthday.

The clip shown above features Wallen unveiling a painted portrait of his sister, who seems to be having the time of her life while dressed in head-to-toe sparkles and angel wings.

“Happy birthday to @morganwallen ‘s beautiful sister @ashlynewallen 🥳 She’ll be 28. 🎈 She had her own painting unveiled at a private event in Nashville. 📸 @grant_larsen_ @caityyyyyyy_ #morganwallen #ashlynewallen#birthdaygirl #happy birthday #nashville #karaoke #tennessee#postsbyelle🌻,” the caption reads alongside the post.

Ashlyne has even returned the favor having, previously, celebrated her famous brother’s birthday in May. She even called Wallen her first best friend.

“Happy birthday to my first best friend 🫶🏻 looks like things haven’t changed too much. Still best friends, you have funny hair, and I can’t keep my mouth shut. I love you, and go vols 🧡,” she sweetly captioned a post on Instagram.

Wallen Also Wanted His Sister, Mikaela, To Join Him On The Project

Ashlyne isn’t the only family member Wallen wanted to wrangle for his album, either. Turns out that he also called on his other sister, Mikaela, to add her talents to the project. However, the timing didn’t work out because she had recently welcomed her new baby, Kehlani Lauren Parker, into the world.

But the family affair doesn’t stop there. Wallen previously debuted the album art of his upcoming Joey Moi-produced album, which pays a touching tribute to his late Mamaw (grandmother). The album art features Wallen, standing outside of the home of Mamaw Boots in Sneedville, Tennessee, as shown in the Instagram post below.

One Thing At A Time Will Feature 36 Tracks

One Thing at a Time will feature duets with Eric Church, HARDY, and ERNEST as well as previously released tracks – “You Proof,” “Thought You Should Know,” “One Thing At A Time,” “Days That End In Why,” “Tennessee Fan,”, “Last Night,” “Everything I Love,” and “I Wrote The Book.”

“There are 36 songs on this album because we just kept exploring with fresh lyrics, music, and production ideas, and these are the songs that felt right to me,” Wallen previously shared. “It was a blast to create, and I was so grateful to be back in the studio to lay this out for my fans.”

Wallen is getting ready to hit the road very soon. The country singer will be heading out on his first-ever stadium tour, The One Night At A Time World Tour, which will also be the biggest tour of his career. The 63-date trek, which follows his record-breaking Dangerous Tour, will feature support from ERNEST and Bailey Zimmerman. HARDY and Parker McCollum will also be featured on select dates of the tour.

The One Night At A Time World Tour begins on March 15 in Auckland, NZ, at the Spark Arena. Wallen will then make his way back to America for the U.S. leg of the trek, which kicks off on April 14 with a two-night–run in Milwaukee, WI. Wallen’s tour will see him making stops at 30 stadiums around the country, plus various arenas, amphitheaters, and festivals. The One Night At A Time World Tour is set to conclude in October.
