Morgan Wallen teamed up with Ella Langley for an unforgettable, rain-soaked performance of “What I Want” during the second night of his two-night stint in Madison, Wisconsin on his headlining I’m The Problem Tour.

On Sunday (June 29), the country superstar invited the “You Look Like You Love Me” hitmaker, who Wallen previously dubbed a “badass,” to fill in for Tate McRae and perform their buzz-worthy collaboration from Wallen’s latest album, I’m The Problem. The performance began with Wallen, wearing white shorts and a black t-shirt, singing the opening chorus from atop a staircase on his massive stage in Camp Randall Stadium.

“She said, ‘You don’t want this heart, boy, it’s already broke’/Told me everything she touch just goes up in smoke/ Only stay a couple nights, then she gon’ be gone/ I said, “Baby, you should know that’s what I want,” Wallen said, launching into the now-viral performance. “Nah, you ain’t gotta worry ’bout no trust issues with me/ I got ’em too, I got ’em too/ Nah, you ain’t gotta worry ’bout no exes that’s crazy/ I got ’em too, you know I do.”

He then welcomed Langley to the stage, where the sold-out crowd greeted her with a thunderous ovation and deafening screams. Fans were thrilled to see her join Wallen. Donning an all-black lace ensemble with flared sleeves and knee-high cowboy boots, Langley strutted onto the stage as she and Wallen blended their signature voices together for a mesmerizing duet as rain drenched the singers.

“She said, ‘You don’t want this heart, boy, it’s already broke’/Told me everything she touch just goes up in smoke/ Only stay a couple nights, then she gon’ be gone/ I said, ‘Baby, you should know that’s what I want,’” Langley and Wallen sang in perfect harmony before making their way down the catwalk that extended to the 50-yard line of the football stadium.

Langley then took on McRae’s verse of the track, singing, “There are no hard feelings if you only wanna act like lovers do/ For a night or two (Oh, oh yeah)/ And sometimes in the mornin’, go back to bein’ someone you never knew (Hey, yeah)/ You never knew.”

Morgan Wallen and Ella Langley didn’t let the rain stop them as they delivered a memorable performance of the track.

“Miss Ella Langley, everybody, y’all make some noise!” Wallen said before the stage went dark and the pair of hitmakers made their way offstage.
