Megan Moroney is set to play RODEOHOUSTON for the first time on March 10, and she shared a few secrets about her upcoming performance with Music Mayhem and other media at a recent event at Raising Cane’s celebrating the release of her new album, Cloud 9.

Sharing that she’s “so excited” to perform at the annual Houston, Texas-based event, Moroney revealed that her entrance and exit will be “over the top, per usual.” As for the set list, the country star will give fans music from all three of her albums — Lucky, Am I Okay?, and Cloud 9 — “because I just feel like Lucky needs to be played at the Houston Rodeo.”

“There’s so many songs off that album, Am I Okay?, so it won’t be just Cloud 9 and it’s going to be a fun set list and I’m excited,” she added. “It’s crazy. There’s a lot of people there. The Star Stage. Cool. Cowboys.”

Moroney’s RODEOHOUSTON show is just the latest proof of her skyrocketing popularity, as the performance sold out within 30 minutes of going on sale, according to the Houston Chronicle. She is part of a star-studded 2026 lineup that also includes Riley Green, Lainey Wilson, Creed, Kelly Clarkson and more.

This year’s Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo runs March 2 through March 22 at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas. Widely recognized as the world’s largest livestock show and richest regular-season rodeo, the event benefits youth and features 21 artists across multiple genres, including country, Latin, R&B, pop, Mexican, rock and Christian music.

RODEOHOUSTON will serve as a bit of a warmup for Moroney for her upcoming Cloud 9 Tour, which kicks off on May 29 in Columbus, Ohio and takes Moroney to arenas across the country before she heads to Europe in September. When asked about what she’s most excited for on her latest trek, the singer shared that she’s “most excited” to perform new song “Who Hurt You?” live.

“I think that that one’s going to be a spiritual experience and ‘Change Of Heart’ too,” Moroney told reporters. “So I’m excited to play those songs. And then obviously just seeing my fans, I got a little taste of that last night. It’s been a while since I’ve had a headlining show. So to see everybody back in their cute outfits and singing along to every word that they knew of the songs that were out just gets me excited to see everyone and get back to it.”

Spanning 49 dates, the Cloud 9 Tour will find the Emo Cowgirl headlining major arenas throughout North America, Europe, and the UK, with high-profile stops at New York City’s Barclays Center, Los Angeles’ Crypto.com Arena, Chicago’s United Center, and Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena. The U.S. leg immediately sold over 450,000 tickets.

The Cloud 9 Tour comes in support of her just-released third studio album, Cloud 9. With Cloud 9, Megan Moroney is saying goodbye to the blue era that was her sophomore album, Am I Okay?, and welcoming her new pink color theme for the project she describes as “written by the strongest, most confident version of myself I’ve ever been.”

Produced by Kristian Bush of Sugarland, Cloud 9 arrived on February 20 via Sony Music Nashville/Columbia Records, and features 15 tracks, including “Wish I Didn’t,” “6 Months Later,” “Beautiful Things” “Wedding Dress,” “Who Hurt You?” and more, as well as duets with Ed Sheeran and Kacey Musgraves.
