Megan Moroney will kick off her Cloud 9 Arena Tour on May 29 at the Schottenstein Center in Columbus, Ohio, and will continue through October 2026. Spanning 49 dates, the global trek will see the Emo Cowgirl headline major arenas throughout North America, Europe, and the UK, with high-profile stops at New York City’s Barclays Center, Los Angeles’ Crypto.com Arena, Chicago’s United Center, and Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena. The U.S. leg immediately sold over 450,000 tickets.

The Cloud 9 Tour comes in support of her third studio album, Cloud 9, produced by Kristian Bush of Sugarland. With Cloud 9, Megan Moroney is saying goodbye to the blue era that was her sophomore album, Am I Okay?, and welcoming her new pink color theme for the project she describes as “written by the strongest, most confident version of myself I’ve ever been.” Arriving on February 20 via Sony Music Nashville/Columbia Records, Cloud 9 features 15 tracks, including the previously released “Wish I Didn’t,” “6 Months Later,” “Beautiful Things” as well as the unreleased, highly-anticipated viral track, “Wedding Dress,” and buzzed-about “Who Hurt You?.”

Cloud 9 will serve follow-up to her Gold-certified sophomore project, Am I Okay?, And her debut, Lucky.

As the tour draws closer, excitement continues to build with fans wondering what to wear, which songs she’ll perform, what to expect, and more — and Music Mayhem has rounded up all the answers below.

What To Wear To Megan Moroney’s Cloud 9 Tour?

With Cloud 9, the overall color scheme is pink, no matter the shade. Megan Moroney says fans attending her first-ever arena tour should wear a mix of “pink, sparkles, gingham, tiger print, pink tiger, sparkles, bows on your boots. White boots, pink boots. Any boots with bows on them. Camo [and] Pearls.”

She shared some outfit inspiration during a recent livestream while signing Cloud 9 vinyls. “The camo will be making your return. We look like a cult when we’ve all got our camo on together. Any shade of pink that looks good on you. The dresses, like the fit and flair ones, they’re still in. We’re so back,” she began.

Moroney is also “excited to see” what fans will wear to the shows and the outfits inspired by lyrics from her songs. “There were a lot of astronauts at the last tour, so I’m excited to see what y’all pull from the lyrics to come up with. Full tigers, yeah. Honestly, if someone showed up… liar, or I guess a lion, and then a tiger, and then a bear. Or a liar, just write liar on your shirt,” she added.

What Is the Cloud 9 tour Set List?

Moroney’s Cloud 9 Tour set list will likely feature a large portion of songs from her new album, Cloud 9, which the tour takes its name from. However, Moroney is also expected to include hits and fan favorites from throughout her career so far, including songs from her debut album, Lucky, and her sophomore project, Am I Okay?.

During a recent livestream with her longtime friend Natalie King, Moroney didn’t reveal too many details, but she did confirm that she is currently working on the tour’s set list and teased that it will heavily feature music from Cloud 9, though she made it clear she didn’t want to give too much away just yet.

“I have the set list laid out, but I’m getting with my MD (Musical Director) to make sure that all my ideas are good ideas. But yeah, I’m already dreaming up everything. We’re getting the … I don’t want to give away too much, actually, but just know it’s in the works. It’s all I think about. Cloud 9. I wake up, Cloud 9, go to sleep, Cloud 9, middle of the day, signing a Cloud 9 album, Cloud 9.”

When asked if she would be performing songs from all of her albums, Moroney simply replied, “I can’t give y’all secrets yet.”

What To Expect?

Fans can expect a massive production on this trek, as Moroney is known for delivering theatrical performances packed with elaborate visuals and all the added bells and whistles that elevate the show even more. With her last headlining Am I Okay? Tour, Moroney brought a huge production and without a doubt she will be going all out for her first arena stint.

“I think it’s all a part of the strategy that we’ve always had. From the day that I met my agent in either late 2020 or early 2021, she told me you’re going to be in arenas in 2026. So this has always been a plan.” Moroney explained during an interview with Bobby Bones on The Bobby Bones Show. “[With the Am I Okay? Tour] there was a little bit more production than I think has ever been brought into the Pinnacle in Nashville, but that’s just like, I like to give my fans a memorable set.”

With a larger-scale production comes significantly higher costs, including multiple trucks needed to haul everything from lighting and confetti to stage props and more. She revealed, “I went from zero trucks to like four or five trucks this year. So next year we’ll be more. So that’s expensive.”
