After opening up about her weight loss journey, superstar Kelly Clarkson showed off her new-look while walking the red carpet at the 2024 GRAMMY Awards, with an extra special guest at her side as well: her 7-year-old son Remington.

Debuts Weight Loss, Nearly Unrecognizable

Since relocating to the Big Apple, Clarkson opened up about her overall health — as well as her weight loss journey — in an exclusive interview with PEOPLE. “I eat a healthy mix. I dropped weight because I’ve been listening to my doctor. A couple of years I didn’t… 90 percent of the time I’m really good at it because a protein diet is good for me anyway. I’m a Texas girl, so I like meat. Sorry, vegetarians in the world,” she shared on January 3, and this weight loss was exemplified tonight (February 4) on the red carpet.

Arrived To The Red Carpet With Her Son Remington

Clarkson served as the perfect mixture of cute and classy at the 2024 GRAMMY Awards, rocking a white off-the-shoulder gown that showed off her slim physique, as well as a matching white clutch and diamond accessories from Jared Atelier that were valued at more than $200,000. To accompany the look, the talented singer/songwriter rocked some romantic curls — making the entire ensemble the epitome of Old Hollywood — however, the best accessory of all was her son: Remington.

Remington rocked a red velvet suit complete with a colorful boutonniere and spiky boots, looking equally as exceptional as his mother.

Earned GRAMMY Nomination With Album, Chemistry

As for Clarkson’s overall appearance at the 2024 GRAMMY Awards, she was attending the oh-so special evening as a nominee, securing a nomination for Best Pop Vocal Album for chemistry, her project that takes a deep dive into her split from her ex-husband, Brandon Blackstock. The “mine” singer was nominated alongside superstars Miley Cyrus, Olivia Rodrigo, Ed Sheeran, and Taylor Swift, ultimately falling short to the latter.

While she might not have taken home the GRAMMY Award, this marked Clarkson’s 17th GRAMMY Award nomination nonetheless, along with three wins throughout her career thus far.

While Kelly Clarkson did not take the stage this evening, Miley Cyrus, SZA, Billie Eilish, U2, Dua Lipa, Joni Mitchell, Olivia Rodrigo, Burna Boy, Travis Scott, Luke Combs, Tracy Chapman, Billy Joel, and more chart-topping superstars put on stellar performances, while individuals like Christina Aguilera, Samara Joy, Lenny Kravitz, Maluma, Lionel Richie, Mark Ronson, Meryl Streep, Taylor Tomlinson, Oprah Winfrey, and more served as presenters.

Hosted by comedian and former host of The Daily Show, Trevor Noah, the 66th Annual GRAMMY Awards aired live on CBS Television Network from the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California, on Sunday, February 4 at 8 PM EST. The show will also be available to stream on demand on Paramount+.
