Country superstar Kane Brown and Grammy-award winning rapper Nelly just released the remix of Brown’s single “Cool Again” on Friday (August 7).

The “Cool Again” remix features a never-before-heard verse from the rapper and is accompanied by a stunning, tropical music video, filmed on the beach in Miami, Florida in late June. Nelly’s rap verse brings a fresh new sound to the upbeat, breezy, summertime hit.

Nelly labeled the remix as “one of the dopest tracks that I’ve done thus far.” Before thanking him for allowing him to be apart of the song saying “I want to thank Nephew Kane Brown for allowing me to be apart of it.”

“Ayo Cool Again / I really wish that I was kickin’ back with you again / Somewhere up there, checkin out the view again / cause every time we do it, it’s like new again / it feel like new again,” Nelly raps in the new verse.

Brown originally released the track in late April. “Cool Again” was co-written by Brown alongside Josh Hoge, Matthew McGinn and Lindsay Rimes. The fan-favorite track will appear on Brown’s forthcoming EP, which is expected to drop August 14.

“His EP is ridiculous, he’s got like some classics on there, you got H.E.R. on there, Swae Lee, Khalid,” Nelly gushed.

Additionally, Fans can also expect a music video for his latest single “Be Like That” which features Khalid and Swae Lee as Brown and his collaborators recently wrapped shooting the music video for the song.

Nelly previously collaborated with country artist Tim McGraw for 2003’s “Over And Over” and Florida Georgia Line on their 2013 mega-hit “Cruise” and more recently with Jimmie Allen on his Bettie James‘ track “Good Times Roll.” The rapper later joined Florida Georgia Line on tour in 2017.
