Chart-topping Country superstar Jason Aldean has proven how much he loves his career as an artist, but he’s also made it clear that he’s a family man at his core.

During a recent interview with Access Hollywood, Aldean and his wife Brittany Aldean were asked if they believe their kids understand their dad’s level of stardom yet.  To which Brittany replied, “I think Memphis might because he’s been able to stay up for the shows so he has moments of, ‘that’s my dad, what’s happening?’ But I don’t think they get it yet.”

Aldean agreed with his wife that their two young ones aren’t quite clear on the whole situation yet. To them, the name Jason Aldean doesn’t correlate with the major country music artist. In their minds, his job is to just be their dad.

“I don’t think they’ve 100% figured it out yet, but hopefully they’re watching at home tonight with their grandparents and they can kinda see it,” he said.

When the country couple formed their relationship, Aldean already had two daughters, Keeley and Kendyl, from his previous marriage. In 2015, he tied the knot with Brittany, who embraced her role as a stepmom and their new lives as a blended family. With his new marriage, Aldean and Brittany welcomed two kids of their own into their family, Memphis and then Navy.

They may not know that mom and dad are well-known celebrities, but Navy and Memphis seem to have “caught the country music bug,” as Aldean said. He took to social media to share the moment he captured of his kids jamming out on their toy instruments and singing along to his duet with Carrie Underwood, “If I Didn’t Love You.”

His oldest daughter Keeley also seems to have acquired her dad’s musical genes. Aldean has previously shared that she’s been learning how to play the guitar and has chosen to continue her education at Belmont University.

The “Dirt Road Anthem” singer continues to make an effort to include his family in his life and career. He and his wife often share behind-the-scenes snapshots into their life on the road with their kids right by their sides. In 2020, he even featured them in the music video for his song “Got What I Got” off his album, 9

The video was shot in one day from the comfort of the couple’s Destin, Florida-based beach home. Navy and Memphis open the video with a sweet goodnight kiss before the camera switches to the lovebirds.

“The babies are in bed, so we are gonna enjoy a night together since we’ve been on the beach all day with the family, and we’re gonna have a stay-at-home date night on the porch, so cheers, babe,” Brittany says in the beginning scene with Aldean.

“Cheers, let’s go,” he responds.

The footage continues, showcasing clips of Aldean, his wife and all their kids enjoying life together and making heartwarming memories on the Florida beach and in their home.

Currently, Aldean is celebrating the recent release of the second and final part of his 10th studio album, Macon, Georgia
