Jason Aldean earned his 27th No. 1 hit with his latest chart-topping hit, “Trouble With A Heartbreak,” which sits in the No.1 spot on both the Mediabase/Country Aircheck Singles chart as well as Billboard’s Country Airplay chart.

The country superstar and father of four took to social media on Tuesday (May 24) to share the news with fans and graciously thank the songwriters who wrote the tune.

“Thank you Country Radio for all the support on “Trouble With A Heartbreak”! We are officially #1 and there is nothing sweeter than celebrating with some of your best friends who wrote it. @tullykennedy @kurtallison @johnmorgan95,” Aldean wrote alongside the single artwork for “Trouble With A Heartbreak.”

“Trouble With A Heartbreak,” which was co-written by Kurt Allison, Brett Beavers, Tully Kennedy and John Morgan, appears on Aldean’s double album, Macon, Georgia. The double album was released in two parts. Macon arrived in November 2021, and Georgia was released earlier this month.

“And that’s the trouble with a heartbreak, it’s gonna hang around / Leave you midnight breaking down, wondering how / Long that it’s gonna take getting over her / It’s a can’t drown whiskey down kinda hurt / Yeah, you can burn them four wheels up on that road / But there ain’t nowhere her memory can’t go / That’s the trouble with a heartbreak / Yeah, that’s the trouble with a heartbreak, a heartbreak, yeah,” Aldean sings on the chorus.

During a recent interview with ABC Audio, Aldean said that releasing “Trouble With A Heartbreak” as the second single from the project was a “no-brainer” as the tune would be able to resonate with his entire fan-base.

“I love the song. It was so different from anything that we’ve put out, especially in recent times. I felt like it was a change up from things we’ve been doing,” Aldean shared. “It’s a real lyric that I feel like anybody that’s ever been through a breakup, which I feel like all of us have, it’s one of those songs that’s relatable that I felt like I wanted to go out and perform every night. It was something I was gonna be excited to go out and sing, and to me, that means a lot too. So that one was a no-brainer.”

“Trouble With A Heartbreak” follows Aldean’s 26th No. 1 hit “If I Didn’t Love You,” a duet with Carrie Underwood.

He later added, “Ready to get back on tour here in a few weeks and play it LIVE for u guys. 🤘🏼”

Aldean will soon embark on his headlining Rock N’ Roll Cowboy Tour, which will kick off on July 15 with a show in Scranton, PA. Gabby Barrett, John Morgan, Dee Jay Silver, Tracy Lawrence, Travis Tritt, and Chase Rice will join the Georgia native on the trek.

“I’m ready to get back out and feel the nights come alive,” Aldean recently shared. “We are already thinking about the set list… there will be some songs off the new record like ‘Rock And Roll Cowboy,’ which felt like a great tour name because it’s all about knowing you belong on the road.”

Aldean’s Rock N’ Roll Cowboy Tour gets it namesake from a track on his recently released 30-track double album, Macon, Georgia.

Barrett will serve as direct support during the first half of Aldean’s tour between July 15 through August 27th, while Tritt, Lawrence and Rice will serve as support on the second half of the tour beginning on September 8.

The 34-city trek will make stops in Bristow, VA, Dallas, TX, New Orleans, LA, and Nashville, TN, before wrapping on October 29 in Wichita, KS at INTRUST Bank Arena.

Additionally, Aldean recently bought a new home in South Florida and his wife Brittany Aldean gave fans a tour of their new Florida home.
