Jason Aldean and his wife Brittany Aldean are “officially Florida residents again!”
Brittany took to Instagram on Monday morning (May 9) to share that she and Jason have settled into their new vacation home in Florida.
“We are officially Florida residents again!” Brittany captioned an Instagram story that shows a massive swimming pool with a hot tub surrounded by palm trees at their new beachside home.
Later in the evening, Brittany returned to social media to show her followers the inside of the home. In a video, soundtracked by UB40’s “Red Red Wine,” Brittany showed her living room, kitchen and dining area as her and Jason relaxed on the couch watching what appears to be a cooking show.
“First night in our new place,” she wrote alongside a heart and wine glass emoji.
Earlier this year, during a Q&A with fans on Instagram, Brittany revealed that the couple bought a new home in The Sunshine State and are currently building another in Music City.
“We just bought again in Florida… and are currently building something new in Nashville,” she shared. ”As for another dream home… probably. We truly enjoy the excitement of new projects (But not anytime soon).”
During an interview with Music Mayhem in March, Jason revealed that while they didn’t build a new house in Florida, they did purchase one and remodeling it to their liking.
“Well, we’ve had a couple houses in Florida and so we actually just bought a house,” Jason Aldean said. ”We’re not building one, but we bought one down there that we’re kind of having some stuff done to it and we haven’t stayed in it yet though. I love it.”
Florida is one of Jason’s favorite places and thinks of it as a second home, as he spent a lot of time growing up in both Georgia and Florida after his parents divorced when he was just a toddler.
“I grew up in Macon, I was born there and raised there with my mom, my parents divorced when I was three, my mom stayed in Macon and my dad lived in Florida,” Jason also told us. “So I kind of grew up in both places and anytime it starts getting warm I like to be at the beach somewhere and it’s kind of my happy place. And so I’ll probably always have a house down there somewhere, it’s just kind of my favorite place to be.”
On top of purchasing and remodeling their new beach house, the country hitmaker recently released his tenth studio album, Macon, Georgia, which pays tribute to his hometown.
He will also be embarking on his Rock N’ Roll Cowboy Tour later this summer. The trek, which kicks off in Scranton, Pennsylvania on July 15, features support from Gabby Barrett, John Morgan and Dee Jay Silver.
The tour will visit 34 cities all over the country this summer before wrapping up on October 29 at iTHINK Financial Amphitheatre in West Palm Beach, Florida.
