Jason Aldean recently celebrated his 45th birthday on February 28, just one week before his appearance at the 57th Academy Of Country Music (ACM) Awards. During an interview with Extra Correspondent Alecia Davis, Brittany revealed what birthday gift she gave her husband.
“She’s a great gift-giver,” Aldean said about his wife who shared that gift-giving is her love language. Turns out, Aldean is one lucky man because as Brittany said, she got him a few things including a pair of Jordan’s, but not just any Jordan’s, Atlanta Braves Jordan’s. According to her, they are “big tennis shoe freaks.”
Brittany also shared a heartfelt message on social media that read, “HAPPIEST OF BIRTHDAYS TO MY LOVE @jasonaldean ❣️❣️ You’re the chillest, sweetest, most loving, loyal man in the world and I’m so grateful you’re mine💙 I love you!!! Here’s to you🍻.” This post was paired with an adorable video montage of what looked to be some of their happiest and goofiest moments together, including their wedding day, practical jokes, and vacations with their little ones.
In celebration of his birthday, the Macon, GA native threw what seemed like a wild boys’ week, or a “frat party” as he called it on social media. The group photo he shared includes several familiar faces including country star Luke Bryan and TV personality Willie Robertson.
“All my boys from @officialbuckcommander came in this week to help celebrate my bday. Thanks to everyone for the birthday wishes and a SUPER SPECIAL thanks to my badass beautiful wife for letting us turn the house into a frat party for a few days. Love u guys. 🤟🏼 P.S….. Willie, u have a text coming in. Check ur phone. 😂😂😂”
For his birthday last year, Brittany threw Aldean a small surprise party with their close friends. Once again, he took to social media to show his gratitude towards his wife and friends for giving him a great celebration. This year, it sounds like he went all out, really embracing his party-mode spirit.
During the same red carpet interview, Brittany wore a glamorous, one-sleeve purple dress while Jason sported a chic black blazer with his black rimmed hat and blue jeans. Later on in the night, Aldean shared the stage with the fabulous Carrie Underwood for a performance of their duet “If I didn’t Love You.” He sat behind the piano as he started off the song and then Underwood made a jaw-dropping surprise entrance. She was lowered from the ceiling onto the stage from a large black ring, which according to Aldean was a bit nerve-wracking to watch.
“I don’t need wings to fly,” Underwood wrote on her social media.
“I’m actually scared for her,” he said prior to the performance. “But it’s going to be really cool…it’s different from anything we’ve done in the past.”
He sure wasn’t lying what he said it would be surprising. The artists confidently roamed across the smoke-filled stage in their dark, dramatic and sparkly ensembles.
His powerful duet with Underwood is featured on the finished part of the double album, Macon, Georgia. Last week, Aldean released “My Weakness,” one of the four tracks that has already been shared off the second half of his project, Georgia. The full album will drop on April 22.
The pair of superstars also took home the trophy for Single Of The Year at the ACM Awards for their chart-topping duet.
