The country superstar and Georgia native, who recently released his tenth studio album, Macon, Georgia, took to social media to share a photo of himself alongside the 45th President of the United States, former President Donald J. Trump.
The picture, captured in front of palm trees on a West Palm Beach golf course, features Aldean and former President Trump, wearing his signature Make America Great Again red ball cap, alongside longtime members of Aldean’s band, including Tully Kennedy and Kurt Allison.
Aldean, a longtime supporter of President Trump, previously spent some time with 75-year-old on the golf course in late December just ahead of the 45th President of the United States’ lavish New Year’s Eve gala at Mar-a-Lago, a resort and historic landmark owned by the Trump family.
The “Trouble With A Heartbreak” singer and his wife Brittany Aldean were among the invite-only event’s guest list. In addition to The Aldean’s, Rudy Giulianai, Trump’s attorney and former New York City mayor, Eric Trump, his wife, Lara, and their children, as well as Ivanka Trump and her husband, Jared Kushner, were also in attendance at the gala.
For the black tie occasion, the Aldeans sported all-black ensembles, with Brittany donning a black off-the-shoulder gown with a high slit, while the “If I Didn’t Love You” singer opted for a black tailored tux.
“Well, this New Years was the best of all time,” Aldean gushed in his Instagram caption at the time. “I got to spend a couple of days with the G.O.A.T…… this man is unbelievable and I wish u all could see what he does behind the scenes. #classact”
During the black tie affair, President Trump introduced Aldean to the stage as “No. 1 In The World,” and even dubbed his wife, Brittany Aldean, “MAGA All The Way.”
While it’s unclear if Aldean performed or just talked during the event, Trump’s introduction for the “If I Didn’t Love You” singer will be one that Aldean will never forget.
“We have a very big star with us tonight, he’s the No. 1 country singer. By the way, how good is the talent tonight,” Trump began. “Right now, he’s the No. 1 in the world, he got every award last week, he got every award last year.”
The former President and businessman then acknowledged and joked with Aldean’s wife Brittany who was present in the crowd.
“He’s got to be making a fortune Brittany, what do you think?” Trump said as he looked directly at Brittany. “He’s got to be making a fortune. And his wife is Brittany, she’s right here, and she is beautiful and lovely, and she’s MAGA all the way. MAGA, MAGA, MAGA.”
Aldean later labeled the introduction by Trump as, “the best introduction I’ve ever had.”
Jason Aldean Previously Golfed With Donald Trump And Says “He’s Pretty Good”
Ahead of the lavish gala, Aldean and President Trump took to the golf course together and since they “never met” prior to this golf outing, Aldean questioned if the former President expected him to be an expert.
“I was like, ‘Does he expect me to be good? Because if he’s expecting to come out and be good, he’s going to be really pissed off after like, a couple holes,'” Aldean recently told Audacy’s Rob + Holly.
“He’s pretty good, he definitely beat me by a lot!” Aldean later admitted of Trump’s skill on the golf course. “He was giving tips all day and unfortunately he actually didn’t start giving tips until about the 11th hole or something, I [said] ‘I wish you would’ve started this back at hole #1.’”
Aldean even learned that Trump is a fan of his music. “He knew [my] songs and he was like, talkin’ about names of songs and different things so it as pretty neat,” he also told the outlet.
The Aldean’s have been quite vocal about their support for the former president on social media. In the fall of 2021, they made headlines when their children were seen sporting anti-Biden shirts.
More recently, Aldean’s wife and sister, Brittany and Kasi, launched a conservative clothing line.
