Former President Donald Trump praised Jason Aldean during his annual New Year’s Eve invite only event on Friday (Dec. 31).

The 45th President of the United States introduced Aldean to the stage during his lavish New Year’s Eve gala, which Trump hosts yearly alongside his wife Melania, at Mar-a-Lago, a resort and historic landmark owned by the Trump family, in Palm Beach, Florida.

While it’s unclear if Aldean performed or just talked during the event, Trump’s introduction for the “If I Didn’t Love You” singer will be one that Aldean will never forget.

“We have a very big star with us tonight, he’s the No. 1 country singer. By the way, how good is the talent tonight,” Trump began. “Right now, he’s the No. 1 in the world, he got every award last week, he got every award last year.”

The former President and businessman then acknowledged and joked with Aldean’s wife Brittany who was present in the crowd.

“He’s got to be making a fortune Brittany, what do you think?” Trump said as he looked directly at Brittany. “He’s got to be making a fortune. And his wife is Brittany, she’s right here, and she is beautiful and lovely, and she’s MAGA all the way. MAGA, MAGA, MAGA.”

Trump then continued to introduce Aldean to the stage while joking that he couldn’t afford his rate to partake in the event. “And he’s a friend of mine, and he said ‘you know what if you want me to do it.’ I said ‘Jason, I can’t afford you.’ And I told Melania, I said, ‘do you think he’d do it?’ He [Aldean] said ‘if you’d like me to I would.’ Ladies and Gentleman, No. 1 in the world, No. 1 in our country, Mr. Jason Aldean.”

As Aldean entered the stage, he thanked the former President and party host before praising his kind words.

“Thank you so much. Well, that’s probably the best introduction I’ve ever had, by the way,” Aldean gushed. “We actually played golf together yesterday and I didn’t think he would let me in here after our round yesterday, but thank you for allowing me to come.”

Jason Aldean and his wife Brittany rang in the New Year with President Trump.

The Aldean’s and a few of their friends rang in the New Year with former President Trump and deemed the experience the “Best New Years EVER.”

According to Jason and Brittany’s Instagram posts, the couple visited with President Trump at Mar-a-Lago, a resort and historic landmark owned by the Trump family, and attended a lavish New Year’s Eve gala, hosted by Trump and his wife, Melania.

The invite-only event was also attended by Rudy Giulianai, Trump’s attorney and former New York City mayor, Eric Trump, his wife, Lara, and their children, as well as Ivanka Trump and her husband, Jared Kushner.

For the black tie occasion, the Aldean’s sported all-black ensembles, with Brittany donning a black off-the-shoulder gown with a high slit, while the “If I Didn’t Love You” singer opted for a black tailored tux.

“Well, this New Years was the best of all time,” Aldean gushed in his Instagram caption. “I got to spend a couple days with the G.O.A.T…… this man is unbelievable and I wish u all could see what he does behind the scenes. #classact”

“Best New Years EVER. Here’s to 2022🖤,” Brittany added.

Not only did Aldean ring in the New Year with the 45th president, they also spent some time on the golf course together earlier in the week.

Aldean’s post features several photos of his time hitting the links with Trump, as well as a video of Trump offering Aldean a few tips on how to improve his swing.

Aldean’s sister, Kasi Rosa Wicks, and brother-in-law, Chuck Wicks, also accompanied the pair on their South Florida trip.

Brittany and Kasi first shared their plans to ring in the New Year with former President Donald Trump in late December during an interview with Pete Hegseth and Kayleigh McEnany at AmericasFest in Phoenix, Arizona.

“As I understand it, you two will be guests at my former bosses’ New Year’s Eve party in Mar-a-Lago, President Trump… Is that right,” McEnany asked.

“Yes, we’re excited,” Kasi said, adding, “We are. It’s going to be a good time.”

The Aldean’s have been quite vocal about their support for the former president on social media. In the fall of 2021, they made headlines when their children were seen sporting anti-Biden shirts.

Most recently, Brittany and Kasi launched a conservative clothing line and have plans to expand the line in the new year.
