HARDY Says Morgan Wallen “Crushed” His Vocal Recordings In The Studio For A New Song

Morgan Wallen and Hardy are up to something in the studio!

The two country superstars were first seen together in the studio on Wednesday, June 16, where they teased fans with a brief clip in Wallen’s Instagram story.

“We workin hardy,” Wallen captioned the muted clip in his story, which showed a video footage from a studio with HARDY and a few other people and what appears to be studio musicians recording a track for presumably a new song. HARDY later reposted Wallen’s story on Instagram and added a shushing emoji.

Now, on Thursday, July 1, HARDY shared a clip of Wallen coming out of a recording booth which he captioned, “when you just crushed your vocal.” Wallen is seen in a grey Carhartt shirt exiting the recording booth saying his infamous word, GAHT.

The “He Went To Jared” singers were joined by songwriter and producer Charlie Handsome.

Over the course of the last few weeks, Wallen has shared a live performance clip of a brand new song that he co-wrote alongside Miranda Lambert and Nicolle Gaylon called “Thought You Should Know.” The emotion-filled track was written in the form of a phone call to his mom, Lesli Wallen, detailing some life updates and all that he has gone through over the recent years.

Not long after sharing “Thought You Should Know,” the East Tennessee native shared an unreleased demo of a banjo-infused song that pays tribute to everything that makes him a country boy, which Wallen admitted the demo got him “fired up.”

It’s unclear if Wallen is currently working on a new album, which would follow his record-breaking project, Dangerous: The Double Album, or if this will be new material would be for an upcoming HARDY project.

While neither Wallen or HARDY have confirmed that new music or a collaboration is on the way, fans are showcasing their excitement across the internet, eager for another collab from the pair.

Additionally, the singers previously joined forces for two collaborative hits “He Went To Jared” and “Turn You Down,” both of which appeared on HARDY’s latest project, Hixtape Vol. 1. HARDY has previously teased that he is potentially thinking about creating a second version of Hixtape, so we can only hope.

In addition to releasing the two aforementioned collaborations, HARDY has co-penned several songs on Wallen’s latest project, Dangerous: The Double Album, including “Sand In My Boots,” “More Than My Hometown,” “Still Goin’ Down,” “Beer Don’t,” “Somethin’ Country,” “This Bar” and “Livin’ The Dream.”
