As part of CMT’s Campfire Sessions, the country superstar and rising trio covered the popular Shelton track during an impressive fireside performance. The cover highlighted Brown’s southern drawl vocals while Restless Road’s flawlessly harmonized with the country superstar.

Brown also performed some fan-favorite hits, including “Lose It,” “Worship You” and more alongside Restless Road. The perfect pairing also featured a performance of their collaborative single “Take Me Home,” as well as a cover of Chris Stapleton’s “Tennessee Whiskey.”

Restless Road also shared a live acoustic rendition of their latest single “Bar Friends.”

Watch their performance below.

“Ol’ Red” is the third single from Shelton’s Self-Titled debut album.

The song was originally recorded by George Jones on his 1990 album, You Oughta Be Here With Me, and then later covered by Kenny Rogers on his 1993 album, If Only My Heart Had A Voice

Additionally, the 1-hour covers edition of CMT’s Campfire Sessions also featured performances from Brothers Osborne (Willie Nelson’s “On The Road Again”), Lady A (Fleetwood Mac’s “Landslide”), Miranda Lambert, Jack Ingram, Jon Randall (Jerry Jeff Walker “Up Against A Wall Redneck Mother”), Keb’ Mo (Bill Withers’ “Lean On Me”), Trisha Yearwood (Linda Ronstadt’s “When Will I Be Loved”) and Kelsea Ballerini (Fleetwood Mac’s “Dreams”).
