The Gaylord Opryland Resort is joining forces with Universal Music Group Nashville and over a dozen country superstars for Christmas, fundraising for the First Responder’s Children Foundation and giving away “once in a lifetime” VIP experiences.
Grand Ole Opry members Alan Jackson, Carrie Underwood, Darius Rucker, Keith Urban, and Reba McEntire, along with George Strait, Mickey Guyton, Luke Bryan, Little Big Town, Eric Church, Kacey Musgraves, Tyler Hubbard, Jordan Davis, Maddie & Tae and Sam Hunt have come together for Gaylord Opryland Resort’s 38th annual A Country Christmas event.
Universal Music Group Nashville is hosting Parade of Trees, a display of Christmas trees donated and decorated by the artists themselves. Each artist has also donated VIP experiences which include fly-aways, VIP concert experiences, exclusive merchandise and more, to benefit First Responders Children’s Foundation.

The funds raised from the event will provide scholarships and mental health services to children who have lost a first-responder parent. There will also be a new collaboration with Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals for the local Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt.
Guests can enjoy the Parade of Trees through a self-guided tour, located in the resort’s Garden Conservatory and Cascades Atrium from now until January 10, 2023.
Reba McEntire said in a release, “The holidays are a special time when people come together to celebrate and be thankful for their blessings. This holiday season, I’m thankful I can help raise awareness for the First Responders Children’s Foundation, which supports the children and families of first responders who risk their lives every day to serve our communities. I hope everyone will go to charitystars.com/paradeoftrees to enter to win and support the families of this wonderful organization.”
