Dustin Lynch celebrated his 10 chart-topping hits with a special concert to commemorate the milestone at Fifth + Broadway’s Skydeck in Nashville on Wednesday, October 30.

The concert event, which was free to the public, brought Lynch together with the songwriters and producers of his hit songs, along with music industry professionals, friends, family and fans, all gathering together to honor the multi-platinum hitmaker.

Performed No. 1 Hits In Chronological Order — One Through Ten

The country superstar performed his 10 No. 1 hits in chronological order, starting with his first-ever chart-topping platinum hit, ‘Where It’s At,’ and concluding with his latest No. 1, ‘Chevrolet,’ which features Jelly Roll, though he was not present at the event.

“Tonight, we are playing our No. 1s in chronological order, top to bottom, one through ten. Maybe get to talk about the songs a little bit…” Lynch told the crowd before performing, “Hell Of A Night.” “This first song right here is the song that changed our lives in a lot of ways. I think maybe the biggest way it’s changed our lives is that Luke Bryan heard this song and asked us to come out on tour with him for two years. It changed our lives and introduced us to a lot of people. So we owe a lot of this to Luke Bryan. We got a lot of friends and family and probably all of our team here. We are so honored to be on this stage, and we are going to just live in the moment and soaked this up. Y’all know what songs are coming, so strap in and let’s have a good time and a good ride tonight.”

He went on to perform each of his songs that hit No. 1, including “Where It’s At,” “Hell Of A Night,” “Mind Reader,” “Small Town Boy,” “Ridin’ Roads,” “Good Girl,” “Seein’ Red,” “Thinking ‘Bout You,” “Stars Like Confetti” and “Chevrolet,” all of which were met with massive singalongs as they did when they were dominating Country radio airwaves.

Commemorated 2X Platinum Hit, “Thinking ‘Bout You”

In the midst of the show, Lynch was surprised with a plaque by BBR Music Group/BMG Nashville’s General Manager Peter Strickland, commemorating his history-making six-week No. 1, “Thinking ‘Bout You,” as it was recently certified 2X Platinum by the RIAA.

“Dustin, sorry to interrupt the program, that was a massive massive song, and it takes an army to deliver that between the writers, radio, streaming, videos and all the partners, but it really takes an incredible artist to deliver the message and that you are. It is my honor and pleasure to present to you two million in sales on ‘Thinking ‘Bout You,’” Strickland said as he handed Lynch the plaque.

Lynch, who was speechless and all smiles, held up the plaque before making a heartfelt speech, where he graciously thanked everyone involved.

“Thank you for this surprise… Wow, I did not know this was coming, so what do I say. It all starts with a song idea, and it starts with guys and girls that believe in what we do as a band on stage because a lot of the songwriters that I get to collaborate with are the best in the world. A lot of artists tour every weekend, but for whatever reason a lot of songwriters decide to come out on the road with us and write every now and again and that’s where this song was born… on tour in 2019,” Lynch began.

He continued, “This song right here is proof that if you believe in something, do not give up on it no matter what people tell you. No matter how many noes you get. It took us two and a half years after we recorded this song to get this to come out and hit No. 1 on Country radio, and that’s because we believed in this song… Thank you so much. Thank y’all for your blood, sweat and tears making this thing a freakin’ double platinum record. This is crazy. That’s hard to do man and as Jelly Roll says ‘sometimes the underdog wins,’ thank you!”

Acknowledged “Cowboys & Angels”

The 39-year-old Tennessee native also acknowledged “Cowboys & Angels, a song that didn’t make it to the top spot at Country radio, but did become a huge hit among his fans, during the concert.

Double Plaque Presentation Prior To 10 No. 1s Concert

Ahead of the concert, Dustin Lynch was honored with a double plaque presentation for his latest No. 1s: “Stars Like Confetti” and “Chevrolet.”

ASCAP, BMI, BBR Music Group/BMG Nashville, Almo Music Corp., MV2 Entertainment, Sony Music Publishing, Studio Bank, Universal Music Publishing Group, and Warner Chappell Music celebrated Lynch alongside the writers of “Stars Like Confetti” — Josh Thompson, Thomas Rhett, and Zach Crowell (also the producer) — as well as the writers of “Chevrolet (feat. Jelly Roll)” — Chase McGill, Jessi Alexander, Hunter Phelps, and Mentor Williams — and producers Zach Crowell and Ben Phillips.

Sponsored by Coors Banquet, a portion of ticket sales will support the Wildland Firefighter Foundation (WFF).
