The country superstar and “Beers On Me” singer flew in to Bryan’s Tennessee lake to fish alongside Beckham on Tuesday, April 19.
Bentley documented his day via his Instagram stories, showing how he served as his own pilot on his flight to Tennessee, then upon arriving to the Volunteer state he drove his Jeep to Bryan’s lake to meet with Beckham. The pair then jumped aboard Beckham’s boat, a ProTeam 175 TXW Tournament Edition bass fishing boat, to spend some fun in the sun, catching fish.
“Good little adventure today. @chaycebeckhammusic fish game is strong,” Bentley captioned a photo of himself with Beckham, each holding a bass fish that they caught in Bryan’s lake.
Bentley also took to Instagram stories poking fun at Luke Bryan with Beckham.
“Gosh, the best of both worlds man, Luke’s lake, all of Luke’s gear, but don’t have to fish with Luke. He’s not here. Got a real fisherman here, Chayce, is just dominating this lake because Luke never has. Kind of sad,” Bentley joked in his Instagram stories, while fishing with the Season 19 American Idol winner on Beckham’s bass fishing boat.
The Apple Valley native, Beckham, reposted the photo of himself with Bentley to his Instagram stories.
“Good day reelin em in with @dierksbentley,” Beckham wrote.
Beckham, who bought a bass fishing boat after winning Idol to celebrate when he moved to Nashville, often fishes on Bryan’s lake in Tennessee.
“I fish Luke’s property regularly. I’m there often,” Beckham recently shared after a performance on American Idol, where he performed the title track to his debut EP, Doin’ It Right.
Bentley and Bryan as well as two of Bentley’s children, Knox and Jordan, recently spent a day on the lake with “uncle Luke.”
“Good day of fishing with uncle Luke,” Bentley captioned photos of his kids with Bryan.
Bentley is set to headline his Beers On Me Tour, kicking off on May 27, while Beckham is currently on the road with Jimmie Allen, touring throughout the United States and will join Luke Combs later this year for a fall Canadian Tour.
Additionally, Beckham recently released his debut EP, Doin’ It Right. Produced by Ross Copperman, the project arrived on Friday, April 15, and features 6-tracks, including his latest digital single “Tell Me Twice.” Beckham co-wrote four out of the six tracks on the project.
“Since my season on American Idol, I’ve been busy in Nashville writing songs and touring,” Beckham shared in a press release. “I tested these songs in front of live audiences last year, and now I’m so excited to have them recorded and ready for you to listen to. I’m really proud of these songs, and I believe they not only tell my story, but they tell stories relatable to everyone going through everyday life.”
