Chris Young and Kane Brown released their “Famous Friends” duet in late November 2020 and it quickly became a fan-favorite track and a most-added song at Country radio. Now, the superstar pairing have some exciting news for what is to come.

During an interview with Country NowYoung revealed that he and Brown are set to film a music video for their collaborative track, “Famous Friends,” very soon.

“[Kane and I] are shooting a video for it [“Famous Friends”] coming up very soon, so that’ll technically be the first time we perform it,” Young shared with Country Now, “We’ve got some cool stuff in the works with this song. There’s a whole lot we’re gonna do with this.”

Young says that the song is “uniquely personal,” because the names mentioned throughout the track are “actual names of actual people.”

The singer released the duet with Brown in late November 2020, the song finds both Brown and Young trading vocals while dropping the names of some of their “famous friends” and the three counties that mean a lot to them including Rutherford County, Hamilton County and Davidson County.

2021 is expected to be a big year for Young as he prepares a brand new double album that he has on the way. The yet-to-be announced double album will follow Young’s 2017 album, Losing Sleep.

“I’ve got a double album done already, so it’s just a matter of what we’re going to do with it, how we’re going to release it when it’s going to come out,” Young revealed to RADIO.COM in a recent interview. “It’s a really, really good mix and there’s, ya know, falling in love, falling out of it, everything in between.”

During his time off the road, Young has also been working on his podcast, The Quad with Chris Young.
