Chris Young has a double album completed and ready to go!
In a recent interview with RADIO.COM’s Katie & Company, the superstar revealed the news of his forthcoming double album. Sharing that it is completed already and they are just in the process of figuring out what to do with it and when to release it.
“I’ve got a double album done already, so it’s just a matter of what we’re going to do with it, how we’re going to release it when it’s going to come out,” Young revealed. “It’s a really, really good mix and there’s, ya know, falling in love, falling out of it, everything in between.”
The “Famous Friends” singer said that with all this time off the road, it allows him to keep writing new music.
“That’s the side effect of us being able to have so much downtime as musicians,” the singer shared in an interview with Smooth Radio. “So, there’s definitely going to be a whole lot of new music coming from me very soon and loads of guest tracks and stuff that I’ve teased on my social media over the past year, and stuff that I’ll continue to tease going forward.”
Young has already released several singles which are expected to appear on his upcoming double album including “Raised On Country,” “Drowning” and “If That Ain’t God.” Fans have also heard two collaborations that are expected to appear as well including “Famous Friends” featuring Kane Brown and “Town Ain’t Big Enough” featuring Lauren Alaina.
The singer has also previously teased collaborations with Riley Green and Brad Paisley.
During his time off the road, Young has also been working on his podcast, The Quad with Chris Young.
The yet-to-be announced album will follow Young’s 2017 album, Losing Sleep.
