Vince Gill has canceled three concerts due to an “unforeseen family emergency.”

A representative for Gill confirmed to Country Now that Gill’s concerts planned for Thursday, July 28 at the Ovens Auditorium in Charlotte, NC, Friday, July 29, and Saturday, July 30 at the Capitol One Hall in Tysons, VA have been canceled.

The shows are not expected to be rescheduled at this time. Ticket holders can request a refund at the point of purchase.

While Gill has not yet publicly announced the news, it was revealed via Ticketmaster.

The news of Gill’s cancellations come after his wife Amy Grant was hospitalized after a bicycle accident in Nashville.

According to WKRN, Grant was riding a bicycle around 3 p.m. on the south side of Nashville near the Harpeth Hills Golf Course.

Grant was reportedly wearing a helmet, however, she sustained cuts, lacerations, and bruises in the accident.

She was transported by ambulance to Vanderbilt University Medical Center. As of Wednesday evening, Grant was hospitalized in stable condition.

Gill’s next scheduled tour date is August 4 at The Ryman, which is the kick-off to his 4-night Music City residency to help celebrate the iconic venue’s 130th anniversary.

With support from special guest Wendy Moten, Gill’s Ryman residency will act as his first solo show at the Mother Church since his 2007 back-to-back sold-out shows.
