Pregnant With Baby No. 3

The “I Hope” singer and Foehner took to social media on Wednesday (Aug. 30) to announce the exciting news with fans via a joint post.

The image captured Barrett and Foehner seated together on a staircase during rehearsal on stage, with a speaker displaying the message “baby #3” accompanied by two hearts. The third slide of the post featured Barrett laying in bed with a Baby Doppler on her belly listening to the baby’s heartbeat.

“SWIPE for a surprise 🩷 #livingthedream,” Barrett captioned the photo on Instagram.

Gabby Barrett and Cade Foehner are also parents to Augustine Boone (9 months) and Baylah May (2).

The couple met in 2018 when they both appeared on Season 16 of American Idol. Their relationship continued to flourish and Foehner proposed in March of 2019.

Following a short engagement, the pair tied the knot on October 5, 2019, during a small wedding in Garrison, Texas.

“Glory Days”

Foehner inspired several tracks on Barrett’s debut album, including her chart-topping single, “The Good Ones. Foehner appeared in Barrett’s music video for “Pick Me Up” as well as the just-released video for her latest single, “Glory Days.” The clip also features Augustine Boone and Baylah May.

Directed by Alexa Campbell and co-produced by Barrett and Taylor Vermillion, the music video showcases a beautiful blend of nostalgia and celebration, capturing the feeling of treasured memories and the joy of embracing the present.

With her family by her side, Gabby Barrett creates a visual representation of the song’s message, reminding fans of the importance of cherishing the moments that shape our lives.

Throughout the clip, Barrett enjoys memorable moments with her family on a picturesque farm.

The anthemic song mirrors Barrett’s real life as she sings about the things that make her life so full, like her family and her faith. Throughout the lyrics, she promises to live life in the moment and never take things for granted because she recognizes that she’s living out the “Glory Days” right now.

“This is as good as it gets, I don’t know what I would change/ I love this life that we live, I love that smile on your face/ No, we ain’t gotta look back at all those pictures in frames/ And wish it’d all stay the same/ ‘Cause right here, right now I say, ‘These are the glory days,’” the American Idol alum sings on the chorus.

Barrett co-wrote “Glory Days” with Emily Weisband, Seth Mosley, and James McNair, and co-produced the track with Ross Copperman.

Story Behind The Song “Glory Days”

During a recent interview on Today’s Country Radio with Kelleigh Bannen on Apple Music Country, Barrett shared the inspiration behind the song.

“I wrote [‘Glory Days’] with a couple of friends and we’re just talking about all the life that I’ve kind of went through within the last couple years. I think it’s pretty abnormal to what normally happens at this age for certain people, 23, 2 kids, and all the things happening with music. And I’ve been married for four years,” she explained.

“So normally those times when you’re in the trenches a little bit with kids and just the days are long, but the years feel fast. Those are the times that you look back on per se. And I just remember my parents kind of saying, oh, those are the glory days. Those are the good old days. And so I was like, well, I’m in my glory days right now.”

While Barrett has yet to announce a release date for the project, she did reveal that it is “almost finished” and that it is expected to debut later this year in an interview with Entertainment Tonight.

“Hopefully, like, early fall is the goal,” Barrett told the outlet.

Additionally, the Pennsylvania native’s forthcoming album will follow her record-breaking debut album, Goldmine, which spawned chart-topping hits such as “The Good Ones” and her debut single “I Hope.”

Barrett released a deluxe edition of Goldmine, which featured four new songs, including “Pick Me Up,” “Never Get It Back,” “The Good Ones (Wedding Version),” and a cover of Dolly Parton’s “I Will Always Love You” in addition to the 13 original tracks.
