BigXthaPlug and Shaboozey have joined forces for a brand new country-leaning track called “Home.” Out now via 600 Entertainment/United Masters, “Home” featuring Shaboozey finds both artists showcasing their vocal prowess on topics associated with “love, loss, and redemption” as shared in a press release.

Shaboozey sets the tone for the track, throwing all his emotion into the genre-defying opening lines with an acoustically-driven backing. The uptempo tune features a fast-paced rhythm and plenty of boot-stomping hand claps during Shaboozey’s moment before BigXthaPlug comes in with his southern-drawl-infused rap stylings, which finds him sending a plea to a lover with hopes that she takes him back.

“Highway, highway, won’t you take me home for a minute? / I swear it won’t be long / Highway, highway, won’t you take me home for a minute? / It’s lonely on this road,” the two artists sing, sharing the chorus that features an ear-grabbing echoing refrain.

Longtime collaborators Bandplay, Charley Cooks, Dave Cohen, and Tony Esterly came together to co-produce “HOME,” with Bryan Taylor, Cooks, Shaboozey, Cohen, BandPlay, Scoot Teasley, Sean Cook, Esterly and BigXthaPlug penning the track. In addition to “HOME,” BigXthaPlug has debuted the official music video for the track.

Shot in Dallas on the famous Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge and directed by Jerry Morka, the visual for the track brings the lyrics to life as BigXthaPlug and Shaboozey show off their intoxicating friendship. The clip begins with the buddies excited to embark on a guys-only road trip. Before they’re able to take the exit to the city they’re headed to, BigXthaPlug gets a text message from the mother of his children, asking him to “come home” so they can resolve their problems.

“I’m gonna have to go home. My girl just texted me. She said she wants to give us another try,” BigXthaPlug tells Shaboozey, who responds with: “We’re one exit away…why do you want to take her back so bad, bro?”

He then says, “Wait, hold on. I’ve got an idea. Watch how I do this. You’re not going back.”

Shaboozey presumes to then catch the attention of the folks on the interstate, breaking out his guitar and singing the beginning lyrics to “Home.” His impromptu live performance draws in all of the spectators and finds BigXthaPlug joining in with his musically talented pal. Shutting down the highway during rush hour traffic with their high energy collab, the duo make it on the news, with BigXthaPlug presumed ladylove catching the moment on TV.

This isn’t the first collaboration between BigXthaPlug and Shaboozey. The artists previously teamed up for 2024’s “Drink Don’t Need No Mix.” “Home” also follows BigXthaPlug and Bailey Zimmerman’s television debut of their collaboration, “All The Way” at 2025 CMA Fest. “All The Way” and “Home” share ties as well, with the Texas-born rapper revisiting the same relationship in the “All The Way” storyline —not with regret, but with resolve, per a press release.

The latest track continues BigXthaPlug’s successful innovation and exploration of the country music genre as he prepares for a full-length release. “Home” gives fans a taste of what they can expect on BigXthaPlug’s upcoming country-inspired album, I Hope You’re Happy. The much-anticipated collection is slated for release later this year.
