Girl Named Tom delivered a stunning rendition of “America The Beautiful” ahead of the 106th running of the Indianapolis 500 (Indy 500) on Sunday, May 29.

The Ohio sibling trio and Season 21 winners of NBC’s The Voice performed one of the most popular patriotic songs in the United States of America during the pre-race ceremonies for Indy 500 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway (IMS).

The group, consisting of siblings Caleb, Joshua and Bekah Liechty, put their flawless harmonies on full display while performing an impressive performance of the patriotic tune.

Ahead of their appearance at the event, Indianapolis Motor Speedway President J. Douglas Boles shared that their performance will be a highlight of the event’s festivities.

“Caleb, Joshua and Bekah captured the attention of America during their winning run on ‘The Voice,’ and their performance will be one of the highlights of pre-race ceremonies,” Boles shared. “We welcome them back home again to Indiana along with the huge crowd on Race Day and live national TV audience on NBC and eagerly look forward to their rendition of this beautiful tribute to our great nation.”

Girl Named Tom made history in December of 2021 when they won The Voice as the first trio to ever win the popular singing competition show. The trio were coached by Kelly Clarkson and marked Clarkson’s fourth victory during her stint on The Voice, which she recently revealed she will not be returning as a coach during the upcoming season of The Voice.

The 106th running of the Indianapolis 500 took place on Sunday, May 29. Coverage of the race aired live from 11:00 a.m. ET on NBC and ran through 4:00 p.m. ET.

The Indy 500 was also available via streaming on the NBC Sports App and NBCSports.com.
